I am in office 4 days a week, but I always make sure they get a long walk in the morning as well as an evening walk! I’m also only a short 5-10 minute drive from my office so I also come home at lunch for a potty break/play time. I do also have the ability to work from home for half the day so often I’m only gone for half the work day! In the event I need to leave the home for errands or something else, they won’t be left alone for more than a few hours. I am also able to separate the dogs into separate rooms as needed!

I typically stick to walks to be on the safe side, but if your dog likes the dog park I am walking distance to a nice fenced neighborhood dog park (west Austin dog park) where they can run and play! We usually go for 2 walks a day in addition to potty breaks, but can adjust our schedule to meet the needs of your dog. My home is their home and they are free to get on furniture and the bed, whatever they’re most comfortable. I am comfortable administering medicine as needed and can separate your dog from mine during meal times as needed. I do ask that any dogs with separation anxiety are crated for their safety as well to avoid any destruction incidents! I have a medium sized crate that can be used if you don’t have one. This said, after your dog is comfortable in the home when left alone, we won’t need to continue with the crate unless they prefer it.

Information Asha C. would like to know about your pet
What would make your dog feel most at home? Do they prefer walks, fetch at the dog park, or are they more lazy? How does your dog get along with the other dogs? How much exercise does your dog need a day? No matter the needs, I can be sure to accommodate it!
A typical day
My dog, Carlton, would love to play with your dog during your visit! Outside of playtime in the house, your dog can go on walks, with endless sniffing allowed, at local hiking spots, parks, or around the neighborhood. I also have access to a fenced in dog park for fetch and other fun activities if they prefer that over a walk.

Your Dog’s New BFFs
Pet care experience
I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life from multiple large german shepherds to a small Maltese. I currently have one dog, Carlton, a 9 year old corgi who is extremely friendly and would love nothing more to keep your dog company. I’ve dog sat for friends, and seeing how much he loved having another dog around made me want to start sitting for Rover. My settings are set to small and medium dogs, but some larger dogs could be okay - just ask!
Reviews

This was my first time using Rover. I was quite anxious leaving my dog with anyone especially a stranger. Much to my delight Asha was wonderful. She brought Louie into her home and treated him as one of the family. Lots of pictures, great communication, and an understanding of just what Louie needed. I’ve already booked a second care time with her.

Asha always takes such great care of Ham, we truly can’t recommend her enough!!

Asha is the best! She takes such great care of our dog.
Amazing!
