A Loving Stay For Your Best Friend
I've been caring for dogs for about 10 years. Dogs have always been a big part of my life, and I truly enjoy the companionship, personality, and happiness they bring. I currently have my own 10-year-old Labrador Retriever mix named Buddy, who is about 45 lbs. I've also provided boarding for multiple dogs at a time, caring for as many as five dogs together and for stays as long as 30 days. I've cared for dogs of all different sizes and ages, from dogs around 5 lbs to dogs around 100 lbs, as well as puppies and senior dogs. I've also cared for dogs who require medication and am comfortable administering medications as long as I have clear instructions on the dosage, schedule, and the way your dog is most comfortable receiving it. I have experience with feeding, walks, bathing, grooming, nail trimming, playtime, and basic training. I also understand that every dog has a different personality. Some dogs want to run and play all day, while others are happiest relaxing beside you on the couch. I try to learn what makes each dog comfortable and make their stay feel as much like home as possible.

Schedule
My goal is to provide a comfortable, loving home where your dog gets plenty of attention and never feels like they're simply being "boarded." I do this full-time and work from home, so I’m home throughout the day to provide potty breaks, meals, playtime, exercise, and plenty of attention. I don’t leave the house for work, which allows me to give your dog consistent care and companionship throughout the day. Drop-offs are available from 11:00 AM–11:55 PM. Early drop-offs before 11:00 AM are available for a $15 fee. Need an earlier start? Book the night before so your pup can arrive early, settle in comfortably, and be ready for the day. 🐾

I have a fully fenced backyard where dogs can enjoy regular outdoor time throughout the day. A typical morning starts with outdoor time for about 30 minutes, followed by breakfast. After eating, I'll give them another opportunity to go outside for approximately 30 minutes to an hour, depending on their preference and the weather. I'll continue providing additional potty breaks and playtime throughout the day. I want to keep your dog's normal routine as much as possible. If your dog normally has lunch, a snack, or meals at a specific time, just let me know and I'll follow their schedule. I also ask that you let me know their normal dinner time so I can keep them on their usual routine. After dinner, I'll give them another opportunity to go outside and enjoy some time in the backyard. I also provide a final potty break right before bedtime. If your dog normally goes to bed at a specific time, please let me know so I can accommodate their usual bedtime routine. My wife typically goes to bed earlier, while I stay up later, so if your dog needs a later-night potty break, I'm happy to accommodate that as well. Dogs are welcome to relax on my furniture or use one of my dog beds. I have toys and treats available, including Milk-Bone biscuits, but I'm happy to follow your dog's normal diet. If your dog has a specific type of treat, a specific feeding routine, or should not receive treats, please let me know or send their preferred treats with them. For overnight stays, dogs have their own room, and I'm happy to accommodate their normal sleeping routine. If your dog prefers sleeping in a crate or outside of a crate, just let me know ahead of time. I have beds and gates available, and can accommodate a crate when needed.

A typical day
I have toys available for playtime, and I enjoy being active with the dogs—whether that's running around and playing in the backyard, playing with their favorite toys, or simply spending time with them. I also enjoy the quieter moments, such as relaxing on the couch with the dogs while watching a movie. During the warmer months, I'll pay attention to the heat and let the dogs decide whether they would rather enjoy some time outside or relax indoors with the A/C. Dogs are welcome to use my dog beds or relax on the furniture. If you'd like your dog to receive a neighborhood walk during their stay, I can also provide a 30-minute walk for an additional $10 per walk.

- The more I know about your dog before their stay, the better I can make their experience. Please let me know about their normal feeding and potty schedule, preferred bedtime, energy level, favorite activities or toys, and anything that helps them feel comfortable. I'd also like to know if your dog is nervous, anxious, reactive, or uncomfortable around other dogs or certain situations. If there are specific situations that may cause stress or unwanted behavior, knowing about them ahead of time allows me to avoid those situations and give your dog a more enjoyable stay. Please let me know about any medications, dietary restrictions, allergies, special treats, or other care instructions. If your dog has a specific routine for meals, snacks, outdoor time, or bedtime, I'm happy to follow it as closely as possible.
