Being a dog mom and caring for our two beautiful Pitties for 16 years was the most rewarding time in my life so far. My husband Andrew and I raised ours (who were 4 years apart) from weeks-old pups to Seniors. We navigated all things with them- housebreaking and obedience training, finding appropriate playtime vs. exercise activities, changing dietary needs, mending broken bones, fighting and beating Lymphoma (humble brag, I'm a pro at dispensing medication), and just plain ol' aging. We loved being their pet parents. Though our status as pet parents has changed, the love that we have to give remains. Over the last year, we've dog-sat for a lot of family and friends so I figured why not help out others who need it. Our home will be your dog's second home and I'll care for them like their Auntie would. We have no other pets so they'll have free reign of the house. It's a 3 bedroom home with a fenced in yard so they'll have plenty of space to lounge around inside and sunbathe outside should they desire. I work from home so I'm able to be with them all day to tend to their needs. They'll get ample playtime and walks around my neighborhood as well as plenty of snuggles and love. I love taking photos of the pups we care for so expect plenty of photos! We would prefer small to medium sized dogs but know we can handle (and love!) larger breeds. Please only those who are potty trained. I can give medications and adapt to special needs as necessary. We will take 2 small/medium sized dogs at a time, only if they come together. If we book one dog for overnight stays, I will not accept another at the same time (to avoid doggie fights and because we'd rather just give our attention to one pup, unless they already live together). We always suggest you bring the items that makes your pup feel more at home and relaxed like their dog bed, crate, toys and blankets.

We couldn’t be happier with the care our pup received! Asatta and Andrew are absolutely amazing and treat our pup like family. We received regular updates and lots of pictures, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. It was clear from every photo that our pup was happy, comfortable, and having a great time. Our pup absolutely loves staying with them, and we always know our furry family member is in the best hands. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a caring, reliable, and trustworthy pet sitter!

We had an amazing experience with Asatta & Andrew! They took such great care of our pup and made us feel completely at ease while we were away. We got daily updates and pictures, which meant so much and reassured us that our pup was happy, comfortable, and well-loved. It’s clear they truly care about our furry family members they look after. Our dogs never want to leave their place every time we go pick them up. They love being there and we can always feel they are in good hands whenever we go on vacation and they stay with Asatta and Andrew. Our dogs love them for sure

Schedule
I work from home so I can easily integrate pet care into my routine. I don't have a set schedule for my job so I can take plenty of breaks for walks, exercise and cuddles in the morning, afternoon and evening. I can easily fit pet care into my routine at home and would welcome the company on my walking breaks when I step away from my computer.

Safety, trust & environment
In our home your pet will be the STAR of the show. They'll have free reign in the house but I can easily crate them at night if you request it. We have a large fenced in backyard that they can enjoy whenever they'd like and they'll get plenty of exercise and playtime with neighborhood walks and fetch game play. We love dogs so they'll get plenty of belly rubs and cuddles from us!
A typical day
If your dog is a high energy dog we will be going on multiple walks a day around the neighborhood for exercise, they'll also have fun playing fetch in my backyard, chewing on approved dog toys and even solving puzzles with yummy treats in them! If your pup is a low energy dog, senior dog or of special needs, they'll still get plenty of outside time in my backyard and stimulation with chew toys and puzzles but we will scale back on the high impact activities like longer walks and fetch.
