Although I don't currently have a pet of my own, my love for animals is boundless, and I cherish the joy they bring into our lives. Ensuring safety and fostering trust in pet care starts with a thorough understanding of each pet’s unique personality and needs. In-home care begins with a pet-proofing check, removing hazards to create a safe space. I then establish a comfortable routine with familiar scents and toys to help the pet feel at ease. For dog walking, I use secure and well-fitted harnesses, always choosing safe routes and being alert to any environmental changes. During pet boarding, I maintain the pet’s daily schedule as closely as possible, providing lots of attention and affection to ease any separation anxiety. Communication is key, so I keep pet owners updated with regular texts and photos, sharing highlights and any concerns promptly. For pets with special needs, I adapt my strategies, utilizing specific rewards or calming techniques, ensuring their comfort and happiness. Whether it’s engaging a shy cat with gentle coaxing or matching an energetic dog’s pace on a walk, my approach is flexible and attentive. This commitment to compassionate and professional care ensures every pet feels safe, loved, and at home, whether they are with me for an hour or an extended stay.

It was such a comfort knowing Baez was in good hands with Asabi’s kind and warm energy. With Baez being a senior cat I’m a little more anxious whenever I leave town, but Asabi regularly communicated with updates and photos and made me feel so much better. I’m so appreciative!

Asabi was great with my two girls — when I got home from my trip, they were both very calm, which tells me they were well taken care of (I’ve come back before and they were both frantic from a previous dog sitter, so I could tell a huge difference with Asabi). She sent plenty of pics and checked in daily. Would recommend!
Asabi was great watching our dog and very flexible. We needed someone to be with our dog in a hotel room during a party we were hosting and Asabi did a great job making sure we didn’t have to worry about our dog the whole time!

I’ve got the flexibility to fit my work tasks around these activities, so I always make room for those important midday walks and exercise sessions, keeping everything nice and consistent for the pets. I also love taking breaks to have some fun with the pets, ensuring they’re mentally and emotionally happy.
