Hi! I'm Arvanh 😊 Animal companions have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, there was always some kind of animal around: dogs, cats, fish, parakeets, and even chickens, ducks, and cows when I spent time with family in Laos. Being around these companions just been a normal and joyful part of life for me. One of the biggest reasons I'm here on Rover is because of my dog, Avery. Avery was my best friend for many years and taught me so much about patience, loyalty, and unconditional love. Like most pet owners, I talked to her like she was a person, and planned parts of my day around making sure she was happy. Since losing her, I've realized how much I miss having furry kids in my life and how much I genuinely enjoy caring for them. Over the years, I've become the friend people call when they're heading out of town and need someone they trust to watch their fur babies. I've cared for: -energetic dogs who want to play nonstop, -cats that needed cuddle time and WALKS (wild, I know) -and nervous pets who just need a calm presence while their humans are away. When I care for someone's pet, I try to get to know their personality, routines, and preferences so I can give them the unique attention they deserve. That means: attention, sticking to their routine, and making sure you never have to wonder how they're doing. If you're away, I'll send photos and updates throughout the day because I know personally how comforting it is to see your pet happy and relaxed while you're gone. For house sitting, my goal is simple: keep your pet's life feeling as normal as possible (with some fun of course). We'll stick to feeding schedules, walks, playtime, cuddle sessions, and whatever routines help them feel comfortable. If needed, I'll also take care of the little things around the house so you can enjoy your trip without worrying. :) For drop-in visits, I'll make sure your pet gets the attention, exercise, food, water, and care they need during my visit. Whether they want to play fetch, chase a toy, get belly rubs, or even just have someone sit with them for a bit, I'm happy to meet them where they're at. For dog walks, I love letting dogs enjoy the walk at their pace. Some dogs want to power walk the whole neighborhood, while others are on a mission to sniff every tree in sight. Either way, we'll have a good time and you'll get photos afterward so you can see their adventure. At the end of the day, I know that pets aren't "just pets." They're family. I also know how much trust it takes to hand over your keys and leave someone in charge of a furry family member you love. My goal is to make that decision feel easy by giving your companion lots of care, attention, and affection while keeping you updated every step of the way. At this time, I only provide care in my clients' homes. I find that pets are often happiest and most comfortable in a familiar environment where they can stick to their normal routines. Before caring for a pet, I like to learn about their personality, habits, schedule, favorite activities, and anything else that helps them feel comfortable. Every pet is different, and I try to tailor my care to their individual needs. For house sitting, my goal is to make things feel as normal as possible while you're away. I'll follow feeding schedules, provide walks and playtime, give plenty of attention and companionship, administer medications if needed, and keep your home tidy and secure. For drop-in visits, I'll make sure your pet has fresh water, food, potty breaks or litter box care, exercise, playtime, and plenty of attention. I'll also keep an eye on their overall well-being and let you know if anything seems unusual. For dog walks, I focus on safety, exercise, and making sure your dog has an enjoyable experience. Some dogs want a brisk walk, while others prefer to stop and sniff every interesting thing they find. I enjoy both! No matter the service, you can expect regular photo updates and communication so you always know how your pet is doing while you're away.

I used to live with Arvanh when he still had his beloved corgi Avery (now passed away due to old age). I got to witness him care for Avery with so much love. On top of that, I could always rely on Arvanh to help me care for my own dog in case I was busy or away from home. Arvanh is extremely reliable not only as a person, but also as a pet caregiver. He’s always mindful in case something seems to be off with a dog, which could indicate a larger issue that potentially needs vet attention. He’s also an outdoors lover, so he’s always happy to walk dogs whenever he can. Arvanh is very patient, both with pets and their humans, so anyone would be lucky to have Arvanh help care for their furry loved ones.
Arvanh was a wonderful sitter for my 2 cats! Before taking care of them, he made sure to ask about specifics regarding their routines, habits, preferences, etc. While I was away, he gave frequent updates without prompting, which really put my mind at ease. He showed genuine care and attention for my cats, and they were so relaxed when I returned. I’d highly recommend Arvanh for any pet owner. He’s incredibly responsive, communicative, and genuinely caring. I’d happily ask him to watch my pets again.
Arvanh was absolutely exceptional, and I cannot recommend him highly enough! Before my trip, he took the time to come by for a meet-and-greet with my cat, Chester, so he could learn our routine, see where everything was kept, and understand all of Chester’s needs and quirks. He was incredibly attentive, thoughtful, and prepared—and even brought Chester new toys, which was such a kind gesture. During my vacation, Arvanh provided daily updates along with adorable photos and videos, giving me complete peace of mind. It was clear from every update that Chester was not only well cared for, but genuinely happy and enjoying his time. Arvanh embraced all of Chester’s favorite activities and little personality traits, from neighborhood watch sessions on the front steps to looking out the window and keeping up with his very demanding meal schedule. In addition to taking outstanding care of Chester, Arvanh also housesat for me and treated my home with the utmost respect. Everything was left clean, organized, and exactly as I had left it. As a veterinarian, I have very high standards when it comes to animal care, and Arvanh not only met those expectations—he exceeded them. His genuine love for animals, the exceptional care he provided to my own pet, and seeing the dedication he has toward his own dog gives me complete confidence in recommending him to anyone looking for a trustworthy, compassionate, and reliable pet sitter. I would gladly book with Arvanh again and wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone wanting the very best care for their beloved pets.
Arvanh has been nothing but amazing when it comes to taking care of my dog, Arlo. My dog tends to pull a lot and gets easily distracted by other dogs while walking but Arvanh really showed a lot of patience and understanding when it comes to managing Arlo. He’s very knowledgeable on how to handle my dog and even gives tips and advices moving forward on how he can have better walks with my dog. You won’t regret having Arvanh as a dog sitter or a dog walker!

I’ve known Arvanh for about five years, and I would 100% trust him to care for my dog, Momo, anytime. Momo can be shy around other dogs, but she’s very energetic and affectionate with people, and she absolutely loves Arvanh. Whenever she sees him, she gets excited, runs up to greet him, jumps on him, brings him her toys, and follows him around. Arvanh has watched Momo several times and has always taken great care of her. He handles everything from feeding and walks to playtime and plenty of cuddles, and he sends me daily updates so I always know how she’s doing. I’ve always felt completely comfortable leaving Momo with him, especially knowing that one of my best friends also trusts him with her dogs. Arvanh genuinely loves animals and has plenty of experience caring for them. He had a dog of his own for over 12 years and has also cared for other people’s dogs. Beyond being responsible, attentive, and professional, he’s also one of the friendliest people I know. I wouldn’t hesitate to leave Momo in his care again, and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone who will treat their pet with the same care and affection he would give his own.

Schedule
Pet care fits very naturally into my routine because I currently have a flexible schedule and plenty of availability throughout the week. In my professional life, I've worked as an engineer, but right now I'm taking time off and intentionally spending more time focusing on the people, experiences, and things that bring me joy! Including caring for animals! Whether it's a quick drop-in visit, a long walk, or overnight care, I genuinely enjoy making pets a part of my day. I'm also a big believer in keeping owners updated, so sending photos and little updates throughout the day is something I genuinely enjoy, not something I do out of obligation.
