I've been an animal lover since I was a kid, and for the past 7-8 years, I've had the opportunity to care for other people's pets too. Milo, my diabetic cat, was my companion for nearly a decade until he passed away in 2022. To fill that furry gap in my life, I've been looking after pets for free, simply because it brings me joy. That's why my rates are budget-friendly. Working from home gives me the flexibility to provide attentive care for your furry friends. Whether it's looking after puppies during the day or house-sitting for well-trained dogs and cats, I've got it covered. Plus, I have experience giving medications to cats, including both oral and injections, and for dogs, it's oral medication. It's important to note that dogs must be well-trained. So, your pets are in capable hands. I don't have a car or a license, so I prefer homes with easy access to the train station and parks within walking distance. Living in Downtown Vancouver, I can check in on your pets frequently and even offer walking services if you're nearby! Your pets will receive nothing but love, care, and playtime under my watch.

While I can't host pets at my apartment because of the lease, that doesn't mean your buddy won't get the royal treatment! Whether they're with me or in your home, I'll make sure they're comfy and cared for. Need them to take meds or stick to a specific routine? No prob, just let me know and I've got it covered. I'll send you updates throughout the day so you know they're in good hands, and if anything urgent pops up, I'll be on it, contacting the vet ASAP. Your pet's happiness and health are my main priority, and I'll do whatever it takes to keep them smiling while respecting your space and rules.

Arushi looked after our home and our sweet cat Scout for a week, and we were able to relax on our holiday, knowing everything was being looked after. She sent daily reports on Scout’s eating and litter box routines—illustrated with adorable pictures! We should mention that Scout is set in her ways and doesn’t take to new people, but Arushi was respectful of her boundaries and seemed to win her over with patience and compassion. We recommend Arushi very highly.
Arushi went above and beyond with our dog and cat during a three week vacation. She asked lots of questions and really tried to understand our pets' quirks and personalities. Her detailed updates and photos kept our minds at ease. She also left our apartment cleaner than when we left. Would definitely book again!
Arushi was nothing less than amazing looking after my two cats. She took care of my cats the exact way that I would do, and I'd confidently recommend her to anyone I know. Schedule
I work a standard 9-5 job from Monday to Friday, which requires me to go into our downtown Vancouver office 3x a week, but it’s only for a handful of hours. The rest of the time, I'm working from back at home and have non-time-bound hobbies and commitments, which gives me loads of flexibility to hang out with your pet whenever they need some company. Whether it's an early morning walk, a lunchtime check-in, or some evening playtime, I'm all about making sure your buddy gets the attention they deserve.
