I’ve been surrounded by dogs for as long as I can remember. When I was born, my parents already had two Dobermans, and after they passed, we welcomed a Weimaraner into our family — and later, his son. Around the age of 18, I adopted a Dachshund, followed a few years later by a lovable Pitbull. My mom also took in a rescue from the street, so our home was always full of wagging tails and happy paws. In 2021, I moved to Canada and made the hard decision to leave my elderly Dachshund with my mom. He was deeply bonded with her and already in his senior years, and I knew it was the best choice for his comfort and happiness. Now, after a few years of settling in, I’ve decided it’s time to welcome a dog into my home again — and that’s how Akira, my miniature Dachshund, came into my life. I work from home full-time, which means I’m able to give pets in my care plenty of attention, companionship, and consistent routines throughout the day. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and temperaments and understand how unique each pup can be. Whether it’s playtime, quiet cuddles, or long walks, I truly love spending time with dogs and making sure they feel safe and loved.
