Hello! I have been fostering and dog-sitting for about 14 years for friends and family. My home is near a large off-leash park, which is just blocks from me. My backyard is fenced. Your pet would be quite spoiled with lots of attention, affection and walks xoxo. Fostering dogs was rewarding and fun, but it was very sad when they got adopted and left! Your pet(s) get to jump up on my furniture and sleep in my bed! 😉 ** I don’t work Mondays, and work Fridays at home. I have a flexible work schedule and can work half days in the office and half the day at home if your pet needs company during the day. Hope to see you and your pet soon 😊

Arlene is a gem. Our rescue chihuahua is a shy girl, very wary of strangers and new things, but Arlene made her feel safe so she settled down right away. Arlene was very patient and understanding and provided a safe, calm environment. We couldn't have found a better person to look after our pup.

Arlene was wonderful. My pup was sad at first, but she quickly warmed up thanks to Arlene’s care and attention. She got plenty of love and long walks. By the end of the stay, she was clearly happy and comfortable. I’m so grateful! I would absolutely trust Arlene again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a loving pet sitter!
It is so hard to leave our little besties behind, but when it’s necessary… Arlene is definitely the only one that I feel comfortable with. —- I almost don’t want to tell the world how great she is as I may have trouble getting in with her 😉
Arlene was a very exceptional find. Her kind and gentle personality had me at the beginning. I was very uncomfortable leaving the pups until I met her💞 Hopefully Arlene will be willing to take them again and again. It felt like leaving them with a good friend.

Schedule
I do not work Mondays, so am available all day on weekends and Mondays. I work Tuesdays to Fridays in the office, but can make adjustments to my schedule if required, and can also work half days from time to time. Lots of flexibility.

I have a fenced yard for dogs to run around. Also near many off-leash parks and not too far from Griffith Woods, which is a favourite park of mine to bring dogs.
A typical day
We would have lots of time to visit different off and on-lease dog parks, so they would get plenty of walks and exercise. I have favourite places to walk and take them to.
