With 18 years of dog experience under our belt, we genuinely love taking care of pets at every stage of their lives. What makes us different is our hands-on experience with both playful puppies and older dogs, so whether your dog needs some basic training or extra comfort in their golden years, we're here to help with care and attention. Josiah grew up in a house full of dogs. Some he helped raised from when they were puppies till they passed away of old age. Some dogs of his were rescues. Either way he has been taking care of dogs of all kinds for over a decade. Arlene has spent her whole life taking care of her family’s dogs since they were puppies. She had to leave them after moving across the country after college. She misses them everyday and will take any chance to see photos of her dogs back home.

Josiah and Arlene were AMAZING!! So glad to have found them. They were so sweet with Nova, very communicative, and so easy to work with. Arlene and Josiah took amazing care of my dog, Zoe! We had a meet and greet before Zoe’s stay and they made sure to ask important questions about Zoe and understand her quirks and habits. They even sent me some written questions about Zoe ahead of the stay. I really appreciated how thoughtful they were. They are clearly huge dog lovers and I felt very comfortable leaving Zoe with them. Also, great communication and lots of updates and photos, which is important to me! I will definitely be asking Arlene and Josiah to care for Zoe again!

We could not be happier to have found Arlene and Josiah! From our meet and greet, to our conversations before, during, and after our dog's stay with them, they were so thoughtful, kind, flexible, and so good to our pup! While we were away, we received many photos, videos, and updates showing how happy our dog was with Arlene and Josiah, which put us at total ease. When our travel plans had to change, they were both so accommodating and willing to help out in any way. We are thrilled with our pup's stay and are so grateful. Arlene and Josiah were fantastic. Archie was very happy and comfortable. We got often updates on how he was and got lots of photos. They responded super quick to every question I had. Recommend them to anyone.

Schedule
We work from home on Mondays and Fridays, which allows us to be highly available for pets during those days. Arlene, who has a flexible job, can adjust her schedule to be home whenever needed to provide extra care or attention. This setup means we’re always around to ensure your dog gets the consistent care and companionship they deserve.

In our home, we ensure a safe and secure environment for pets, with plenty of space for them to relax and move around. We welcome pet owners to bring any items their dogs need for added comfort. When caring for pets in a client’s home, we stick to their routines and preferences, always maintaining a high standard of safety and respect for their space.

We like to go on walks in the morning and for weekend hikes. We will typically go into the city or invite friends over to hang out
