I am currently pursuing my master's degree through a remote program, which allows me to be at home throughout the day. The only instances when I'm not home are when I need to run a quick errand, which typically lasts no more than two to three hours. During these brief periods, my partner or my parents are available to stay with the dogs, as we benefit from living in an intergenerational Asian household. As a result, I can ensure that any guest dogs in our care receive attentive supervision at all times. For boarding drop-off times, here are our ideal windows that work best: • 9 - 11 a.m. • 2:30 - 5 p.m. • 7:30 - 8 p.m. For boarding pick-up, anytime between 9 a.m. - 8 p.m. is good except for the following time windows: • 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. • 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. If you anticipate needing to drop off your dog earlier than 9 a.m., we suggest adjusting your reservation by selecting one of the available time windows for the day before. Similarly, if you need to pick up your dog after 8 p.m., we recommend rescheduling it for the following day. I look forward to coordinating with you. 🤝

Safety, trust & environment

My dog is my family. So, I can relate to how hard it is to trust a stranger to care for them. I felt the same way when I tried Rover for the first time with my Lexi. This is why I will do my best to give as much transparency as needed 🤝 As the property owner, I can customize the space to suit your dog’s needs. I find initiating an introductory video call beneficial for fostering trust and ensuring safety. This allows us to connect on a personal level. During our conversation, I will outline the screening step and provide a breakdown of the payment process. My screening process can be extensive, but I do this with all my guest dogs. So you know that all other guest dogs during your stay have also gone through a similar vetting process for their safety. The screening step includes answering questions about your dog through a Google Form. The questions would allow me to gauge my compatibility with your dog's needs. It will also inform you about the supplies needed to provide the best care for your dog. It also helps us get to know your dog as well as possible so that we can provide the best-tailored care your dog deserves. I would be delighted to provide regular updates, including photos and videos, at a frequency that suits you best. Typically, the parents of my guest dogs prefer to receive updates once a day or every other day. The above-mentioned Google form also allows you to share your desired update frequency. If you’d like more updates, don’t hesitate to call me. I’m available anytime between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m., and I’d love to talk and share updates about your dog. I can even show you your dog through FaceTime or WhatsApp. I like to think of my place as a fun camp for dogs! They get to play and make new friends until their hearts are happy and full. And don't worry—if anything goes sideways, I'm always there to intervene. I prioritize getting to know each of my guest dogs to cater to their specific needs and keep them happy and relaxed. That way, we can minimize the chance of any tense situations as much as possible from the outset. If a tense situation persists, I have ample space to isolate dogs in separate areas. On average, I host about 2 to 3 guest dogs daily, with a maximum capacity of four. I maintain a fully stocked first aid kit capable of addressing everything from minor scrapes and cuts to severe bleeding that may require deep cleaning and truncation. Additionally, I am well-trained in administering CPR and performing the Heimlich maneuver on dogs.

A typical day

We start our day bright and early, heading outside around 7 a.m. for a short walk so that everyone can attend to their business. When we return, we give everyone a little pampering by wiping their paws, faces, bodies, and other spots. After that, it’s time for a delicious breakfast! In the afternoon, usually around 1–2 p.m., we play fetch in our big backyard until everyone is happily tired. When we come back inside, we give them another wipe-down. We kindly ask that you pack enough dog wipes for their stay—approximately one pack per week should suffice. As evening rolls around, we head to the backyard again around 7 p.m. for one last potty break. For nighttime, we offer a variety of cozy options. Your furry friends can snuggle up on our available dog bed, relax on the couch, enjoy their own provided bed, or curl up in any of the three comfy crates if they prefer. Since we love having our guest dogs on the couch, please don’t forget to pack enough dog wipes for their stay. We can’t wait to see them! Last but not least, to ensure you stay informed about your dog, I will provide you with updates, including photos or videos, either in the morning after breakfast or at night before I go to bed.

Pet care experience

The NYC Department of Health licensed me to provide Animal Care. Feel free to see the picture of my license in my profile. At Rover, we've had the joy of spending time with and caring for 140 wonderful dogs and counting! In other words, I have experience with pups of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. I have always been passionate about providing exceptional pet care. Since I was young, our homes have been filled with furry friends, and we love spending our spare time volunteering at humane societies and shelters. Friends and family have always counted on us as their go-to people for dog sitting, and we have opened our home in the past to foster dogs in need. We take pride in making our house a welcoming space for our fur babies.

I highly recommend Aritra for your pet care needs! He kept us informed from Day 1, by sending pictures and videos. He even offered to video call me several times a day. He is amazing and I will definitely reach out to him first with any future needs for me Husky Bella!
