I’ve had quite a bit of experience dog sitting and cat sitting for friends and my boss, often caring for multiple pets at the same time. I genuinely love being around animals and enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality and routine. I also have a 7-year-old Toy Poodle of my own, so I’m very familiar with the day-to-day responsibility of caring for a pet. He has a very strict diet, and I always need to keep a close eye on him to make sure he doesn’t pick up or eat anything he shouldn’t. Because of this, I’m used to staying attentive and keeping an eye on pets throughout the day. I’m patient, responsible, and attentive to the little things, and I always want the pets in my care to feel safe, comfortable, and well loved. 🐾

I’m happy to care for pets in their own home, and this is actually my preference as my apartment is fairly small. I find that staying in their familiar environment can also help pets feel more comfortable and relaxed while their owners are away. When staying at a client’s home, I’ll follow their usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, playtime, bathroom breaks, and any special care or medication they need. I have a 7-year-old Toy Poodle named Mickey who is very friendly. For overnight house sitting, I’m available if Mickey is able to come with me, or if your home is close enough to mine that I can easily go back and forth to feed and care for him. I would always discuss this with you beforehand to make sure the arrangement works well for everyone.

Schedule
I currently work part-time online from 4–7 p.m., so I have a very flexible schedule and spend most of my time at home. This gives me plenty of time to care for, play with, and keep an eye on your pups throughout the day. There’s also a dog park nearby, so I can take them out for a walk and some playtime during the day. I’m available for boarding most days of the week, and even while I’m working, I’m able to stay home with the pets. I love having animals around and will make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and company throughout the day.

- Please let me know about your pet’s personality, daily routine, feeding schedule, allergies, medical conditions, medications, and any behaviours or sensitivities I should be aware of. Knowing what makes them comfortable, nervous, or excited helps me provide the best care possible. My home is a shoe-free and very clean, low-hair environment. For pets staying at my home, I prefer low-shedding breeds or dogs that don’t shed much. If your dog is a heavier shedder, I’d be happy to provide care at your home instead, where they can stay in their own familiar environment.
