Before caring for a dog, I would like to know their age, sex, vaccination status, feeding routine, allergies, medical needs and any medication. It is also important to know their behaviour around other dogs, animals, people, traffic, bikes or loud noises. Please tell me if your dog has separation anxiety, fear, aggression, special routines, training needs or anything that helps them feel safe and comfortable.
A typical day
A typical day depends on each dog’s personality, routine and energy level. I make sure they have time for toilet breaks, gentle play, walks and rest. I avoid heavy exercise straight after a big meal and choose the walking environment based on the dog’s confidence and behaviour. For energetic dogs, I can provide longer, active walks. For shy or nervous dogs, I give them space, patience and a calmer route. I also like to include simple mental stimulation, basic manners and positive social experiences when suitable.

Pet care experience
I have been around animals since childhood, growing up on a family farm and caring for dogs, farm animals and rescued strays. I have hands-on experience from kennels, farms, a rescue centre and a veterinary clinic, including walking, feeding, cleaning, basic handling, giving medication under supervision and keeping animals calm. I am confident with energetic and working dogs, and I pay close attention to each dog’s behaviour, hygiene, safety and comfort. I am physically active, reliable and caring, and I always aim to make every walk safe, enjoyable and stress-free.
