Hello, good people. I am aware that I have set my rates higher than the norm, but in order to do this via Rover, it needs to be a living wage. I am incredibly present and loving with your pet’s care, and I’m grateful for your trust in me if we choose each other for your time away. Tips are also very helpful for us pet sitter’s, of course, only if you thought we have done a great job- especially after the fee that Rover takes. Thank you for understanding. My name is Ariella. I love dogs and cats, and all animals, and consider it an honor to care for, and be loved by them, in return. I have been watching + caring for my friend's and neighbor's animals (dogs, cats, and a bearded dragon) for 15+ years, and decided to put myself on Rover. This includes 1 elder dog who needed specific human food, and to be watched carefully, 1 elder dog who needed 3 different pills at different times each day and to be lifted up and down the stairs. And my own kitty after he recovered from surgery to remove skin cancer- where I administered pain meds via syringe. I even once dog sat for two weeks on a tiny Greek island, where my instructions were not to let the dog off the lead no matter what because otherwise, she might go and kill another mountain goat. Which would put pressure on the owner to put her down. I of course, obliged. Luckily, other than her stealing a chicken leg from some wild island cats on one of our walks (she hopped over a little stone wall and came back with it in her mouth, and suddenly 12 cats were following us, and we walked a little bit faster home) it was joyful and drama free. ;) I have a 12 year old cat named Tulu. Which is why I primarily come to your home to care for your animal loves. Your dog, cat, bird, reptile or fish, etc. will be in very caring and competent hands.
