Pet care experience

Active Kiwi Dog Handler

My passion for dogs started the day I was born: I was lucky enough to grow up side-by-side with a Pyrenean Mountain Dog named Griffin, who stood 6 feet tall on his hind legs and weighed 75 kg. Being raised by such an incredible gentle giant taught me deep respect, patience, and complete confidence when handling dogs of all sizes—especially large or strong breeds. Since moving from New Zealand to Germany, I haven’t been in a position to own a dog of my own yet, which is why I’m putting all my energy into professional dog walking and care. I have extensive hands-on experience caring for and training dogs for family and friends, focusing on active outdoor exercise, leash manners, basic obedience, and mental stimulation. I am physical, outdoorsy, and love taking dogs on engaging, fulfilling walks rather than quick trips around the block. I am also currently working toward formal German dog handling certifications (§ 11 Tierschutzgesetz) as I prepare to launch my own outdoor adventure service. You can rest assured your dog is in the care of someone dedicated, highly responsible, and physically capable.

I currently have full schedule flexibility, meaning I can completely dedicate my time and attention to your pet. I am available throughout the week and on weekends for dog walking, daycare, drop-in visits, and sitting. Because my schedule is open, I can easily adapt to your dog’s specific routine, feeding times, and walk schedule without any rush.

Safety, trust & environment

I live on Harbigweg directly next to the rugby grounds and sports fields, with the vast open green spaces of the Airfield just steps away. This gives us immediate, safe access to endless walking routes, open grass, and quiet trails right outside my door—no busy city traffic needed! My care approach is 100% tailored to what your dog actually needs: High-Energy / Active Dogs: As an athlete, I love taking high-energy dogs on long trail walks or jog sessions to make sure they come home happy, stimulated, and thoroughly exercised. Seniors or Recovering Dogs: For older dogs, pets with injuries, or anxious dogs who prefer a calm pace, I switch gears completely to gentle, relaxed, low-stress walks with plenty of sniffing time. Your dog's safety, individual temperament, and physical limits always come first. I treat every home and pet with complete respect, clear communication, and regular picture updates so you know your dog is having a great time.
