Almost 30 years working with horses — training, rehabbing, and caring for them — taught me patience, how to read an animal’s body language, and how to stay calm when they’re not. That instinct carries straight over to dogs, cats, and just about anyone with fur. When your pet is with me, they’re not an obligation on a checklist. They’re company. I’ll keep their routine steady, give them the attention and exercise they need, and send you updates so you’re never wondering how they’re doing. Ariel was an incredible petsitter and housesitter! She was very responsive, communicative, and reliable both as we prepared for and throughout the sit and she took excellent care of my cat Jinx! After a week of camping and traveling, I came back to a home that was spotlessly clean, a cat that was clearly well loved and cared for while I was away. Beyond that, Ariel went above and beyond to not only clean the apartment but also fix a few things that had recently broken and install a window AC unit I picked up a few days before the sit but hadn't had the time to set up. I felt so secure knowing my baby Jinx and my home were in good hands while I was away and I would highly recommend Ariel to anyone!
Ariel was amazing!! Ariel was excellent with communication and reliability. She sent me lots of photos and videos (per request!) throughout the stay. Our home was immaculate when we returned. Our curtains had previously fallen she had fixed those as well as filled the holes and painted the window trim - shocked!! Also organized some kitchen drawers. Will have her stay ANY time!!! The best ♥️
I cannot recommend Ariel highly enough. She stayed at our home while we were away on vacation, caring for our two dogs, our cat, and our two chickens, and she exceeded every expectation we had. From the very beginning, she was warm, professional, and incredibly communicative. She sent thoughtful updates and photos throughout our trip, which gave us complete peace of mind knowing our animals were happy, safe, and genuinely loved. She went above and beyond in ways we never expected. She even took it upon herself to fix our refrigerator's ice maker, something we had been told by multiple people was beyond repair and would require replacing the entire refrigerator. She fixed it without us even asking. When we returned home, we were absolutely stunned. The house wasn't just clean, it was immaculate. She organized our refrigerator, cleaned the cabinets, windows, floors, and outdoor areas, and left every room looking like it had been professionally prepared for a magazine photo shoot. I honestly thought our home was clean before we left, but Ariel completely redefined what "clean" means. Most importantly, our animals were so obviously well cared for. One of our dogs even had freshly trimmed nails, something she thoughtfully did during their stay. Every one of our pets received so much love and attention that we never worried for a second while we were away. Finding people you can trust with both your home and your beloved animals is incredibly rare. Now that we've found Ariel, I honestly can't imagine asking anyone else. If you have the opportunity to book her, don't hesitate. She is truly exceptional, and I recommend her without reservation.

Schedule
I work from home, so pets aren’t squeezed into the margins of my day — they’re part of it. My schedule is flexible, which means I can match your pet’s routine instead of forcing them into mine: morning walks, midday check-ins, feeding times, all of it stays consistent with what they’re used to. Between my own animals and my work with horses, caring for animals is already woven into every day. Adding your pet to that rhythm isn’t a stretch — it’s just one more member of the crew. I’m around throughout the day to keep an eye on things, so your pet gets steady attention rather than a quick drop-in and gone.

In your home, my first priority is keeping your pet’s world exactly as they know it — same feeding spots, same walk routes, same routine. I don’t rearrange things or cut corners. I make sure doors, gates, and yards are secure before anything else, because a lot of trouble starts with a gate that didn’t latch. I keep your keys and access details private and treat your home with the same respect I’d want for mine. With animals themselves, decades of reading horses taught me to watch body language closely — I can tell when a pet is anxious, overstimulated, or not feeling right, and I adjust instead of pushing. New environments and unfamiliar dogs get introduced slowly and on the pet’s terms. I keep an eye on hazards most people miss: food left out, toxic plants, an open trash can, a fence gap. You’ll hear from me with updates and photos so you always know your pet is safe and settled. If something seems off health-wise, I’ll reach out right away rather than wait — and I’ll always have your vet’s info on hand just in case.
