I have no breed preferences, and can walk dogs that weigh 100+pounds as long as they don't pull excessively! I am happy to meet with any and all pets and their owners. I will usually suggest a park, dog friendly coffee shop, or the owner's home for meet and greets, depending on the owner's preference.
A typical day
I can play and walk pets to fit their energy needs. With owner's permission, we could even go hiking or visit a dog park! I'm all about matching the usual routine and preferences of the pets I'm sitting. I will usually try to plan walks around fun things near the pet's home! I look for parks and trails to enjoy while walking dogs. If the owner has a usual route or area they take their dog to, I'll usually follow that route! During the summer I make sure to plan a route that minimizes contact with hot pavement and asphalt. I'm very responsive when pet sitting. Owners always receive an update from me when I've checked in with their pet, and any questions asked by pet parents are answered promptly! I'm great at following instructions left for me to the tee. And I always listen to the body language of pets to ensure they're comfortable at all times!

Hi, I'm Ariel. I've loved animals since I was a little kid. Now that I've graduated from college, I have the perfect opportunity to earn additional income spending time around my favorite creatures! I've been a professional pet sitter for over two years now, and have loved meeting new pets & their owners. In my time not spent sitting, I do part-time work from home as an academic research analyst. This job allows me to have as much time available for pet sitting and dog walking as possible! I enjoy the outdoors, yoga, and cooking all kinds of food. I am open to sitting all breeds & species. I am content matching the energy level of your dog. If they are active and playful, we can play in the backyard or go for multiple walks a day. If your dog is more of a couch potato, we can spend my visit relaxing on the couch. I can offer walks for your dog, overnight visits to your home, or shorter check-in visits.
