I have had and taken care of pets my entire life. Everything from dogs and cats and fish, all the way to ferrets! I now though, have 5 years (and counting) of professional experience in the dog world, 3 of those years also I including providing care to cats as well as birds, lizards, guinea pigs and more! I worked at a Daycare, Boarding and Training facility for dogs for those first 2 years, and it helped me grow my skills exponentially! It's also allowed me to really strengthen my understanding of dogs, their behavior, body language and how to help them be successful and happy in their day to day lives. My following 3 years was with an in-home pet care company where I provided more individualized care and expanded my skill set with medications, senior care and special needs. I saw and worked with the whole spectrum of ages, breeds and temperaments. I have experience with administering oral, topical, injectable and inhaler medications, basic grooming services and working through anxious behaviors. I also have a very special soft spot for the high energy breeds! I am very flexible, dedicated, caring and I understand the importance of communication.
