I began pet sitting and dog walking through Rover in 2019, in addition to dog walking through Wag!. Between 2022-2024, I shifted my focus mainly to Wag!, but with the newfound flexibility of remote work, I have decided to make my triumphant return to Rover! In addition to pet sitting through these companies, I also regularly pet sit for my employers, coworkers, friends, and roommates. The following experiences exemplify my love for animals and the kind of care I will give to your pet: #1: I spent an hour patiently waiting for a rescue dog (traumatized by prior abuse) to warm up to me enough to get out of her cage and go for a 30 minute walk. After many treats and reassurances, she quickly learned to trust me and was beaming the entire walk. I sent the owner multiple pictures to show her progress. #2: I pet sat two elderly dogs. One of whom started to show signs of illness while I was house sitting. The moment I noticed changes in his behavior (not eating, low energy), I contacted the owners, who guided me through the situation and were appreciative of my care and concern. I grew up with a border collie mix named Domino (aka Domi). Domi and I would often engage in staring contests, and he would always win. I hope to soon adopt a rescue of my own so that I can shower it with loads of love and affection. In the meantime, I am satisfied being a loving aunt to my roommates' toy poodle, whom I often take on walks and engage in endless games of catch and tug-of-war.
