Safety, trust & environment

SAFETY: Safety for your animals, you, your home, and my own safety is my number one priority. I will never put your animals in an unsafe situation. Please keep reading through the trust and environment section below to see how we mitigate risk together. TRUST: New dog clients: I prefer to do an in person "meet and greet" at the Canyon Lake Park in Rapid City, SD. This is a neutral space meet up at no cost and will last around 30 minutes in duration. We will first spend 5-15 minutes walking with your dog(s) in the park so we can get to know each other and observe the dogs in a highly stimulating on-leash environment (geese, joggers, bikes, scooters, other dogs, and squirrels!). The second part of the meet and greet, we will sit at a picnic table to review your dog's profiles and expand on any additional information. We will review your expectations and details of future booked visits, and most importantly, we will discuss our emergency plan. After each visit or walk: I will message you over rover.com a report when I complete the care, and photos (if you wish)! I am in the Army, and can access Ellsworth Air Force base housing without a visitor pass or an escort if you need. I am flexible with last minute booking requests from folks in uniform 🇺🇸 ENVIRONMENT: I prefer to administer one on one client care, I will be caring for your animal without the presence of other animals. I walk and run with just your pets, and I like to take them on enriching hikes around town! My in-home care depends completely on your schedule and routine, mimicking exactly what you do so there is no disruption in your dogs routine in your home. I need a full in-person run down of what your routine looks like before we can get started (food, water, potty, crating, leashes, medication, temperament)! Thank you for taking the time to meet with me ahead of the first booking. I like being prepared to handle an emergency in a way that is communicated and agreed upon. This increases stress free care, and your animal's safety is my number one priority. I can’t wait to meet you and help you out!

Information Arianne I. would like to know about your pet

Let me know if your dog has medical needs I can attend to, or if they have specific fear based triggers you observe. Every dog, cat, horse, is indeed an animal and we can do a lot to help them overcome fears and anxiety on a daily basis. I just need to know what they are!

A typical day

I like to assess what the dog needs and how they like to expel energy. Sometimes it’s “walk and smell the ground” and sometimes they just need to run! And other times, it’s their fun little niche game they like to play with their owners. Having fun really depends on the dog!

Ari has been walking my dog, Beckett for a few days now. She is extraordinary! Very organized, extremely professional and she actually runs my dog because I can’t and I love that and so does Beckett. If you hire her, be assured that your dog is in good hands. I’m very happy with her. 💜💜. Five thumbs up!!
