Pet care experience

Reliable, Patient, and Caring

I love all dogs but I have a special place in my heart for senior dogs. I love giving them extra attention. I have experience with medication. Chester, my senior beagle, had to take quite a bit because of his Cushions disease. I had to get creative with getting him to take his pills. I cared for Chester and Chelsea (my second beagle, because you can't just have one :) ) since they were puppies. More recently I've cared for Moki, my sister's Aussie Doodle since she was a puppy as well. I am very patient with younger dogs and may even teach them a new trick. Obedience training is something I strongly support. I am happy to reinforce any training while your pup stays with me. Exercise and mental enrichment is something else that I feel is important. I usually make sure that we get minum two walks a day. Depending on the weather. For senior dogs, we may not walk around the neighborhood but instead we will spend time in the garden. Although at the moment I don't care for cats, I do have experience caring for senior cats. Princess was 18 years old at the time she passed. Princess was a rescued cat and she started out as a foster. She went from hiding in my closet to allowing me to kiss her head and letting me pet her. She was a very special cat.

She is very friendly co-operative, a good communicator & good care provider for my pup. We were travelling to NY that time, I took her help to take care of my baby, she did great. Highly recommended.

We left our dog with Arianna over our 3 day vacation and she was wonderful. Always keeping us updated with pics and letting us know how things were going. We always go back to Arianna.

This is our third time leaving our pup with Arianna for a longer stay. When we dropped him off, he was racing to her door to greet her. That just about summarizes how we feel about Arianna as a dog sitter. Our dog feels at home with her, and we're always assured that our pup is healthy and comfy at her place. We received several pictures and videos per day, and pickup/dropoff is always seamless due to Arianna's great communication. 10/10.

Ariana was great! She sent pictures throughout the day and kept me updated on how Mia was doing. When I picked Mia up, she didn’t want to leave! Also, she had so much fun that she knocked out as soon as we got home. Highly recommend Ariana!

Safety, trust & environment

I have a large house and your pup is free to go through out. I keep the bathroom, and basement doors closed at all times. The kitchen is off limits so I have that gated. I keep my home tidy so there isn't anything your pup can get into. I do have a garden and backyard. They are not fenced, but if we go to the garden or backyard your pup will be leashed at all times. After the passing of Chester and Chelsea, I have not gotten a new dog. Your pup will have 100% of my attention. For boarding I like to take one dog at a time. For doggy daycare I can take up to two a day. However, if you own more than one pup I can accept your request. Message me to schedule. Although I work during the week, I make sure to take ample breaks so I can check up on your pup, take them for a walk, and play with them. For boarding, I make sure your pup is as comfortable as can be. I make sure they feel that my home is their home away from home. We go on long walks, we play, we cuddle all in all we have a good time.

A typical day

Our day starts of with a morning walk. Once we come back we will have some breakfast and then have some playtime. During the week I would then log on for work and take several breaks throughout the day to check in with the pup. I will make sure there are plenty of toys and snacks. I have a sofa where I create a nice space for the pups to look out the window. At lunch time, we will go out for our second walk and finally when I end work we'll go on our last walk, where we go explore the neighborhood. I like to take them to different places in the neighborhood for them to get some new smells. I live very close to Forest Park and like to take them on some of the trails. During the evening, we can snuggle up and watch the news and/or play a bit more before bed.

It is important for me to know if your pup has any behavioral issues. For instance, if they don't like being around other dogs, get frightened easily, are very anxious, are they friendly with other dogs or people, etc. As this will help me better care for them. If there are any allergies or dietary restrictions that too is important for me to know. These are just a few examples. Do let me know if there is anything else that I need to know. I do ask that we schedule a time for a meet and greet. To ensure that I am a good fit for you and your pup. Also, for you to see where your pup will be staying for the next few days. For larger dogs, we cannot skip the meet and greet. Your pup does need to have some obedience training in order to stay with me.
