Pet care experience

Bather, sitter, trainer, vet care

I went to LSU majoring in Animal Science and Biology and am finishing my degree with Arizona State University in hopes of applying to vet school. I currently own a Cardigan Welsh Corgi named Eevee and live in Chepachet. I am originally from Rhode Island, where I was previously a groomer and now currently a Veterinary Assistant working on becoming a technician. I love all animals and I've been caring for companion pets for years, be it my own or others. I've interned at three vet offices and am pet CPR and first aid certified. I have a certification from the American Kennel Club in canine handling and training, and I am fear free certified through my job. In high school, I ran my own walking and sitting service which recieved a state Agribusiness degree with the FFA. Bathing is also available for non-haircut dogs. I try to be as flexible as I can with time frames and prices. Please don't hesitate to ask! As of now, I am free on weekends and weekdays usually after the hours of 6pm (but I do get out of work at 3 occasionally so if you're in doubt, shoot me a message!) I always take precautions when entering or leaving the house, and meticulously check to be sure there is nothing that could be harmful to your pets that they could get into. I am trained in multiple types of canine first aid in case of emergencies, and have a good knowing the body language of animals from work and personal experience. I treat every animal I encounter as if they are my own. If taking your pet in the car, please note I am fully insured through Travelers in case of any situation or incident.

Boarding • juin 10, 2024

I couldn't have asked for a more attentive, caring and qualified host for my 13 year old lab, Lexi's boarding experience. Arianna went the extra mile to ensure Lexi was comfortable and all of her needs were met throughout her stay as she recovered from a relatively recent surgery. Her dog Eevee was an additional delight and it was comforting knowing she was surrounded by great company. I look forward to booking Arianna's services again in the future and recommend her to anyone in need of a helping hand and a trusted resource to look after their dog(s)!

Schedule

My life is pet care. I work in the field and even after hours, I often care for boarding dogs and drop in walks/feeding dogs after work and on my days off. Most days I'm available after 6pm, or available all day.

Where your pet will stay

Home characteristics

Lives in a house
Has an unfenced yard
Non-smoking household
Has 1 dog
No children present
Dogs allowed on bed
Dogs allowed on furniture
Potty breaks every 4-8 hours

Safety, trust & environment

My yard is not fenced in, but I have both a outdoor lead and multiple lengths of leashes at my house. I keep water available at all times and have a gate to separate my house in two if your dog needs alone time or isn't good with other dogs. My mother and sister (18) are both often home throughout the day if I am not and are willing to help care for your pet if necessary. I do not own a kennel or crate but have space for one if you'd like to bring it.

I love all dogs. I have no preferences and if you can name it, I've probably worked with it. I prefer to know: their feeding/letting out schedule, how they are with other animals/children, their favorite toys and treats, if they have any specific bad habits i should watch for or correct, and any other little things I can do or provide to make sure your pet is comfortable and happy. I do require kennel cough and rabies vaccinations as I have many clients, both on and off rover and safety is my top priority.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
