Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I work part time, which allows me to dedicate time to walks, drop in visits, feeding, play sessions, and quality one on one interaction. I’m available before and after work, on my days off, and most weekends. I do my best to be flexible and accommodate each pet’s individual schedule and needs.

Before any booking, I like to make sure we’re both on the same page about your pet’s needs and expectations. I’d love to know about your pet’s personality, energy level, comfort around new people, and any habits or behaviors I should be aware of. Please let me know if they have any fears, anxieties, triggers, escape tendencies, food restrictions, allergies, medical conditions, or medications. For dogs, I’d also like to know how they behave on walks, whether they’re reactive to other animals or people, and any commands they know. For cats, I’d appreciate knowing their favorite hiding spots, how social they are, and the best way to interact with them. I also welcome information about house rules, areas pets are allowed or not allowed, emergency contacts, veterinarian information, and anything else that helps me provide consistent care. Open communication helps create a safe, comfortable experience for everyone involved.

Every pet is different, so I tailor my care to their personality and energy level. A typical day may include walks, playtime, enrichment activities, feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, cuddles, and plenty of companionship. For cats, that might mean interactive toys, brushing, or simply spending quiet time together. My goal is to keep your pet happy, comfortable, and engaged while maintaining the routine they’re familiar with at home.

Hi! I’m a proud cat mom to three cats of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy and attentive to care for your pets. For boarding services, I host pets at my mom’s home in Shelton, Connecticut, which provides a spacious yard, a calm environment, and one small senior resident dog who mostly sleeps throughout the day. My own apartment, where my cats live, is separate and is not used for boarding.. I have hands on experience caring for both cats and dogs, including feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, litter box cleaning, waste pickup, bathing, and administering oral medications. I’ve cared for pets with different personalities, from energetic and playful to shy, anxious, and senior pets who need extra patience and attention. When caring for your pet, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I know every pet is different, and I take the time to learn their habits, preferences, and any special instructions you provide. I also love to keep you constantly updated with photos/videos. Whether your pet loves long walks, playing fetch, cuddling on the couch, or simply having a calm companion nearby, I’m happy to provide the care they need. Safety is always my top priority. I provide regular updates, photos, and communication so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I treat every animal as if they were my own and strive to create a safe, loving, and stress free experience for both pets and their owners. She came over on her own time to meet our cats, learn how to best take care of them, and get a feel for the ins and outs of their behavior. While we were away, she sent us daily updates and photos of our cats so we knew they were in good hands the whole time. We will certainly be booking with her again!
