As a pet mom myself, pet care is a daily routine for me! I am a stay at home wife (soon to be mom) and spend most of my days spoiling my dog and cat! I’m new to the area so I don’t really have much that gets me out of the house and I absolutely love being around animals so I figured why not try to fill my time by helping other pet parents out who may not have as much time on their hands as I do! I’m very flexible with scheduling and last minute bookings so never hesitate to reach out!

During my time working in the PetSmart grooming salon, I became very used to nervous and anxious dogs as grooming time can be very stressful for pets! I’d say I’m pretty good at recognizing anxious behavior and doing my best at making pups more comfortable! I also understand how nerve wracking it can be to trust someone with your pet - especially someone new! I have had an experience in the past that left me traumatized when it comes to leaving my pets in someone else’s care. So I too understand that overwhelming need to check in on your baby and make sure everything is going well! I promise you, as someone who has been on the other end, I am always welcoming to multiple check in texts, long lists, picture requests, and the need for as many details as possible! I’m someone who likes to feel sure in what they’re doing so if I have any questions or concerns- they will be brought up immediately. I never like to assume because there’s always a chance I could be wrong, so I like to get all the details!

Please let me know of any medical issues your pet may have so I can be aware to keep my eye on anything! I have experience giving medication orally to both cats and dogs so I am comfortable giving that although I do like to be shown your preferred way on how to go about that as I know some pets can be tricky. I’m also willing to administer medication through injection if you feel comfortable in showing me how that is done! Basically, if there is anything you’d like me to implement or do during my visits just let me know, and show me how you like it done and I will do it! Please don’t hesitate to leave extra instructions if that makes you feel more comfortable! I’d love to do everything just as you like so I welcome any additional information!
A typical day
I love to ensure that the pets are getting as much as they can out of my time with them! If they want to play fetch or tug of war then I will play with them for as long as they want! For some pets, when I come over it may be the most entertaining part of their day! I also like to implement and work on any training that you as the owner may be working on in your own time! I love teaching tricks and I feel like I have a fairly basic understanding of teaching obedience. While we are outside going potty I’ll make sure they get out as much as possible and they get their fill of sniffing around and enjoying the fresh air!

I’ve had a drive to care for animals my entire life! I grew up with dogs and mostly cats and would dog-sitting for family members anytime they needed! I’ve always known that I wanted to work with animals when I grew up but veterinary care would make me too sad as it physically pains me to see sad and hurt animals:( I also have a history with horses and competing! I spent a summer(2023) in Louisiana volunteering at a barn where retired racehorses would get sent to rehab, retrain, and eventually rehome! I would spend all day helping rehab the horses! I worked at PetSmart both in the store as a PetCare Specialist and in the Grooming Salon as a Professional Bather! During my time there I realized how much I love making pets and their parents happy and a little more healthier! I loved talking with pet parents and educating them while also hearing about their furry babies! Nothing made me happier than seeing one of my clients walking in - tail wagging! I have a dog and a cat of my own! My dog is a mini Australian Shepherd whom I have trained myself! He loves to do agility training! I also groom him myself! I rescued my cat from the side of a freeway when he was a little kitten. He’s had some medical issues regarding his bladder so I’m well rounded with cat care and administering medicine! My cat is now my little Velcro kitty who always wants to be involved in what I’m doing! I’ve worked with all kinds of dogs- big and small! While I normally don’t have a preference between the two, I am currently pregnant with my first so I’m only really able to physically handle small/medium dogs for the time being.

Ariana has always had a deep connection and compassion for animals, i grew up watching her do anything in the world just to pet an animal. As kids we would always pet sit for the neighbors and walk dogs around town. She has worked as an assistant groomer and has always had her own dogs she's loved grooming. She spends most of her time with her own animals teaching them tricks. :)
