Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine thanks to my hybrid work schedule. I’m in the office three days a week and work from home the other two, which gives me plenty of flexibility for walks, check‑ins, and spending extra time with pets who need a little more attention. On my home days especially, I’m able to build pet care right into my day. I also love getting outside, so taking dogs to the nearby greenway or exploring the neighborhood parks is something I genuinely enjoy. Whether it’s a quick visit or a longer outing, I make sure each pet gets the care, exercise, and companionship they need.

When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, my focus is on keeping their routine as familiar and comfortable as possible. I follow the schedule and habits they’re used to—whether that’s feeding times, walks, playtime, or quiet companionship—so they feel secure while you’re away. I’m attentive to their cues, patient with different energy levels, and always make sure they get plenty of affection and reassurance. If I’m caring for pets in my own home, I create a calm, safe environment where they can relax and feel at ease. I make sure they have space to settle in, stick to their normal routines, and get the exercise and attention they need. Since I enjoy walking on the nearby greenway and visiting local parks, dogs get plenty of outdoor time.

I love keeping pets active, happy, and mentally engaged, so I tailor activities to whatever each animal enjoys most. For dogs, that often means walks on the nearby greenway, exploring local parks, or playing fetch and tug‑of‑war. If they prefer a slower pace, I’m just as happy to take gentle strolls or spend time relaxing outside together. For cats, I like to incorporate play with toys, enrichment activities, and plenty of cozy companionship. No matter the pet, I make sure they get a mix of exercise, stimulation, and affection so they feel content and cared for while you’re away.
