Information Aria W. would like to know about your pet

I am comfortable with giving medication, oral or injections. If your dog is reactive and you'd like to meet beforehand, I love that. As someone with a reactive dog, I understand how scary it can be to trust someone with your dog. All I ask is that you tell me about your pet ahead of time so that I can provide the best care possible.

A typical day

I love to be active with dogs. I love long walks, playing tug, and especially love fetch. If you have a fenced in yard, that's perfect. If not, and your dog has good recall, we could play at the dog park, or a field near your home! I also love to do sniff work, whether that be puzzles, different games with toys, or hiding treats around the house.

Pet care experience

My family got our first dog when I was eight years old. Since then, I've always had a pet in my life. When my first cat got sick, I made sure she ate her medicated food and eventually was taught to administer fluids. Since leaving home, I've adopted my first dog. He's a reactive 4 year old. From these experiences, I've learned how to care for animals with special needs. I have worked on training dogs, taking dogs for walks, and feeding animals on a schedule.

Aria did an amazing job watching our two dogs! They were well cared for. Aria sent photos and communicated regularly. Would absolutely ask her to watch our dogs again.

Aria did a wonderful job sitting our scaredy-cat. She understands that pets all have different interaction styles, and encouraged Vivien to come out of her shell while respecting her boundaries. Aria persisted in letting Vivien know she wanted to be with her, and was rewarded with cuddles. Vivien appeared content and well taken care of when we arrived home. We would definitely recommend Aria again!
