Availability
I am no longer providing house sitting services. I work a full time job that does not have the option for remote work so I cannot be with your pet 24/7 while you’re away. I also cannot spend the night due to having a disability. However, I am happy to provide drop-in services instead. 🐕 Drop-Ins $25/30 min I’ll stop by before (7am) or after (5pm) work for potty breaks, meals, meds, water refresh, and TLC. ⚠️ I typically work 8am-4:30pm most days including weekends. I cannot do a drop-in during that time. 📄 You’ll receive a detailed Rover Card each visit with poop notes, energy check-ins, and photos. 🦮 Walks I tailor walks to your dog’s energy level, whether they’re a zoomie machine or a sniff-every-bush type. I track each walk via Rover Card and give detailed potty/play updates with pictures. I am happy to refill food/water post walk as well.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety-First Approach: I’m meticulous with doors, gates, harnesses, and home safety. Counter surfers and escape artists? No worries, I've got systems in place. I’ll also bring in your packages and respect your home like it’s my own.
Information Ari O. would like to know about your pet
Info related to safety: Reactive, quirky, anxious; I've seen it all and live it myself. Please be upfront about your pet’s personality, needs, or quirks. Whether they need a muzzle, special collar, or meds, I’m happy to accommodate, no questions asked. I am a no dog park sitter. In my opinion, the risks of dog parks greatly outweigh any benefits. I am very experienced in dog body language. Unless I’m seeing positive body language from your dog AND a strange dog? I will avoid contact with strange dogs at all cost. My goal is for you to return to your pet in the same condition you left them in. I minimize any risks of injury with 100% effort. I also limit outdoor time with brachy breeds during the summer to minimize the risk of heat strokes.
A typical day
My day starts early (around 6:30am) when I head out for my first pet care visits before work. I’ll walk your pup, serve breakfast, refill water bowls, and make sure everyone starts their day happy and calm. Then I head to my full-time job at PetSmart, where I spend the day surrounded by animals and staying up to date on pet care best practices. After work (around 4:30pm), I return for afternoon check-ins: potty breaks, playtime, cuddles, and any meds your pet may need. In the evening, I make a final visit for dinner, digestion time, and one last walk. Between visits, I send detailed updates with photos so you always know how your pet is doing. I’m committed to keeping your pets safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away.

Pet care experience
⚠️I will be taking a week off 7/27-8/2 for Peanut’s surgical recovery process⚠️ 👋 Hi, I’m Ari! (r-e not air-e) I’m a lifelong animal lover with 10+ pets of my own (ranging from dogs to reptiles) and I’ve been working with pets full time since 2021. I’m passionate about animal care and treat every pet like they’re one of my own. 💗 Why I Rover I joined Rover to help cover ongoing medical costs for my senior pup, Peanut. Every booking helps give her the care she deserves, thank you for being part of her journey. Tips are never expected but deeply appreciated.

Reviews

Ari is always a delight and my sweet floof loves her so much. Thank you Ari!

Ari was a godsend when our pup started having unforeseen health struggles while we were out of the country. When we got concerned about his behavior from her detailed check ins, we coordinated a vet visit and she was willing to bring him in and stay by his side. She worked with him through new medication administration and food avoidance, even laying out detailed notes for us when we returned. As stressful as it was not knowing what was wrong with our boy, her care and attention helped us know exactly how he was doing and made us feel comfortable that he was safe until our return. For that we can’t thank her enough ❤️

Ari is always wonderful and takes care of my girl! 🥰

As usual, Ana was very happy with Ari! We appreciate all the updates and pictures. We know she’s in the best hands whenever we’re out of town. Thank you!
