Trail walking! 1 acre fenced yard
I typically book, for house sitting and boarding, four to six months in advance. I have immediate availability for drop in visits and walks. 15 years experience with dogs, cats, and other small animals- rodents , rabbits, chickens. Pocahontas State Park pass so we can trail walk too!! Boarding 1 family at a time. Lots of attention. 1 acre completely fenced in play yard. Balls, frisbees, sticks; FUN!! We also offer a splash pad during warmer weather. PLEASE NOTE: our fences are wire and four feet tall. WE HAVE HAD ONE DOG JUMP OVER THE 4FT FENCE. She luckily returned the next morning. If your dog is a jumper this is not the place for them to run free. We can provide a smaller seven foot tall fenced in area. Or we can leash walk your dog around our three acres twice a day. We will ask all prospective boarders to come and inspect our fences, gates and property. We will ask all boarders to sign a waiver understanding the height of our fences and that your dog is not a jump risk. Thank you for helping us maintain the safety of your pet. This is our highest priority.

I'm starting to sound like a broken record -- but as always, Ari and James provide stellar service!! We expect one day Roscoe will refuse to come home. There can be no finer dog lovers/walkers/boarders/any other type of support people on Rover. We're going to start planning our trips a year in advance so we can make reservations with Ari and James -- when the word gets out about how great they are, it will be a challenge to find an open date!!
Ari is a joy to work with. It is wonderful to know our four fur babies are in such competent and loving hands when we're away. Our anxious shepherd has always been a concern, but Ari is incredible with him and goes over and above in making him happy. We get lots of photos and updates on how they're all doing. We feel so fortunate to have found Ari.
Ari and James are a blessing -- going above and beyond every time they interact with Roscoe. We've never seen Roscoe as excited when Ari arrived to pick him up!! When we've been away for an extended period he's happy to see us, but he doesn't go crazy like he does when he sees Ari. Its great to watch!! Thanks again Ari!!
Ari checked in on our little kitty for a weekend and managed to keep her inside even though she’s an escape artist! Even though we booked a quick drop-in, she went the extra mile and spent time at the house to make sure the cat had some company.
As always, Ari did a wonderful job - communicated with us regularly and helped us pretty last minute with some extra drop-in visits. Our dog can be a little anxious but I never worry about her with Ari! She always makes sure that our dog has the space she needs and lots of exercise!
Ari is amazing! She goes over and above on everything. Our pets are always so well taken care of and we always feel confident leaving them in her hands. In addition, I had some issues with Rover booking and Ari stepped in and took care of it. Ari is so sweet and kind. You cannot go wrong choosing her for the care of your beloved pets.

Schedule
I’m looking at starting a small part-time business walking and pet sitting. I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. Looking forward to developing relationships with my clients. We are open for extended stays.

Safety, trust & environment
Trail or sidewalk walking. Rainy/snowy days are a-ok! I am available for drop in care for dogs and small animals: cats, rodents, rabbits, and chickens. All dogs will be buckled up for the ride as we travel to go on a trail walking adventure. Also we have a 1 acre completely fenced in play yard for some off leash play. Your choice! PLEASE NOTE: my yard and house fences are four feet tall; if your dog is a jumper, this is not the place for them. We have metal fences inside the house separating our house in half. Each half has a cozy bedroom dogs are welcome into. Dogs do NOT mingle in the house. If you have a dog that is reactive to other dogs, we have the capacity to keep dogs separate inside and outside.

A typical day
I love walking the trails at Pocahontas State Park. I always buckle up the dogs for car rides. Lots of windows down and ears flapping. Dogs will remain on leash for all walking. If you’re looking for off leash run around playtime, I can provide that as well at my house!
