I work remotely from home for most days, and my schedule is flexible. Occasionally I need to be in the office for up to 4 hours at a time, though with enough advance notice I may be able to accommodate a different schedule, especially for puppies or senior dogs. I can generally adjust my schedule to adhere to medication times if needed, including late night/early mornings. Pets are welcome (but not required) to join me on any walks, runs, or other outings provided that you (and they) are ok with that!

I am always careful (some would say paranoid) about safety. I triple check gates, doors, water dishes, medications, everything. When boarding (not currently available) I have a fully fenced yard and own my house which has been dog-proofed over several iterations. Self-closing gates and doors give an extra layer of security. My spouse and I foster dogs occasionally and may have one when it's time for your boarding. We have NO FOSTERS until 2026. We are careful to make sure that any foster dog we accept is good with other dogs and doesn't have any communicable diseases. If you're worried about this, please feel free to ask for more info- we may not have a foster during the time of your request or may be able to be flexible around day care and boarding requests.

I'm happy to take any breed of dog and any amount of activity level need. I will need to know that they are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on flea preventative care, and fully housetrained before booking our first meeting.

I try to stick with your dog's routine as much as possible. Whatever they are accustomed to, I can usually accommodate. If you are looking for more stimulation, I love taking dogs for walks, hikes, or playing with toys around the house. If your dog is social I'm happy to go to the dog park they are familiar with.

I can offer your dog opportunities to do whatever they usually do- hang out at home, go on walks, play fetch, etc. I'm also a runner and can offer a lot of exercise to a dog who needs it. I'm sensitive to a dog's moods and I try my best to help them feel relaxed and safe in any environment. I have experience (and a soft spot) for caring for senior and special-needs pets. I very good at monitoring health and behavior, and for medical needs, I have experience with medications, post-surgery care, and subcutaneous fluids. For anything more than that please just feel free to ask. My house-sitting rates shown here are ESTIMATES only, my actual rate for you will depend on what you need and your location! Please feel free to reach out with questions about that.

Dropped off my 2 doggos with Ari. Everything went smooth. Would recommend as a walker or someone to stop by your home. Dogs had a great time. No issues
Ari is true animal-person, through and through. She is delightful and clear in her communication. Ari has both an intuitive knowledge and understanding of animals, and a lot of experience caring for a variety of species of animals. Our dog is sensitive and older and has separation anxiety. Ari was extremely understanding of our dog and his needs, as well as us and our needs. She provided him with excellent, warm, sensitive care and he really took to her. We will definitely be working with Ari again!
Ari is an AMAZING A+ pet sitter for my reactive dog and older cat. Her calm, great energy and genuine love and curiosity about how to care for my two puts everyone at ease. Reliable, proactive, kind, communicative- there’s no one I trust more for peace of mind and great experience.
