I am a part-time tutor and most of my clients are taken in the evenings and weekends, but with the summer time approaching, my number of clients has tapered off!

Safety, trust & environment
My work can be done anywhere with wifi, so I am able to keep an eye on the pets the full-time I am scheduled. I have experience with reactive dogs and know how to handle them, as well.
Information Arden C. would like to know about your pet
Is your dog reactive to humans, other animals, or loud noises? How is your cat with new people and do they like attention? Let me know ahead of time of your typical pets’ behavior. This allows me to prepare accordingly!
A typical day
I am a big advocate for enrichment! I like to take sturdy, flexible materials (bought at pet shops) and fill them with PB or treats. This helps with potential anxiety by actively letting your pet use their brain. As for cats: I know most enjoy their freedom. I’ll gladly provide a few chin scratches and treats if I am approached!

Flexibility and kindness!
Pet care experience
I have had dogs and cats my entire life growing up. In my college career, I volunteered/worked at several animal shelters; I also have experience with exotic pets! These opportunities taught me how to physically handle pets, but also learn common behaviors. I am intuitive and think that is helpful when dealing with animals. At this point in my life, I have almost 10 years of animal experience.
Reviews
Arden is quite possibly the best pet sitter my family and I have ever had! She is an animal lover who is both punctual and responsible, and she treats every pet as if they were her own. She pays special attention to detail when it comes to caring for your fur babies and she sends daily picture updates to qualm how much you’re missing them!
There are some people who are just naturally "animal people"--the type of person who can adapt and connect with any creature, anywhere. Arden is lucky enough to be one of those people. From reptiles, to amphibians, to more typical pets like cats and dogs, Arden is adept in working with them all--caring for them, intrinsically understanding their needs, and being respectful and intentional about the way in which she interacts with them. Anyone would be lucky for Arden to be the carer for their pet, and if you leave your pet in Arden's care, you can be assured they will be in safe and caring hands!
Arden has been a phenomenal pet sitter and she is one of the few people able to walk my big dog! She is so sweet and polite and my 2 pups love her! She is also able to give the daily medicine my little dog needs to take. If a pet's reaction is an indication of how good a person is with dogs, my 2 dogs give Arden as big a welcome as I get!
Arden is an amazing dog sitter and dog walker! Arden grew up with dogs and is comfortable with both big and small dogs. My two golden retrievers adore her and are always so excited every time she comes over! What makes Arden unique is that she has experience in animal medicine. She has worked at veterinarian offices and animal shelters. Her medical training gives us peace of mind when we leave our dogs with her. We give Arden 5/5 stars and highly suggest her for your next dog walker/sitter!
