My experience as a pet sitter has been a master class. For over a year, I assisted a senior compound with eleven dogs, three cats, and seven chickens. I know it sounds like a lot and it was! My role was to manage the dogs' activities throughout the week, including on-site feeding, keeping a potty schedule, and physical exercise, primarily supervising their play. Less frequently, I would house-sit overnight and coordinate off-site activities like taking the dogs to the groomers, vet visits, and dog walking. I still drop by for some playtime and cuddles. I've also had the rewarding experience of helping to raise three American Eskimos; Bailey, Ricky & Lucy. Which made me want to have a furry child! While I currently don't have a pet of my own, I'm eagerly awaiting the arrival of my Papillion or Xoloitzcuintli. However, I feel a rescue or a stray cat will find me first, but that's another story. Rest assured that when you entrust your pet to my care, they will receive the attention, love, and respect they deserve.
