I’ve been caring for animals for most of my life and have experience with a wide variety of pets, including dogs, cats, and other small animals. I understand that every animal has a unique personality and routine, and I always strive to provide patient, attentive, and compassionate care. In addition to years of pet sitting for friends and family, I also volunteered with 4 Paws for Ability from 2016 through 2021, where I helped socialize and assist with the training of future service dogs. This experience taught me the important of consistency, positive reinforcement, and understanding animal behavior. I also volunteered at the Columbus Zoo in 2016. I currently have a 5-year-old Holland Lop rabbit named Strawberry, and I also helped raise and train my family’s Miniature Bernedoodle named Clover. Caring for animals has always been a major part of my life, and I truly enjoy building trust with pets and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I also have experience caring for senior dogs and pets with special needs, including administering oral/topical medications and providing extra patience, attention, and support for older animals who may need a calmer approach or more individualized care. I also hold a bachelors degree in Biology, which has strengthened my understanding of animal behavior, healthcare and overall care.
