Lifelong Dog Lover with Experience
Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover with years of hands-on experience caring for animals. I grew up in a home full of pets—my family has three Boston Terriers, and my dad is a veterinarian who often brought animals home for us to care for. Because of that, I’ve been around dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments for as long as I can remember. In addition to caring for my own pets, I’ve also fostered dogs through Austin Pets Alive!, which gave me experience helping dogs adjust to new environments and routines. I’m comfortable with everything from energetic puppies to older dogs who need a slower pace and extra attention.

I always get nervous leaving my dog Louie because he's a bit young still. April did such a great job with him. She sent me pictures and texted with any questions she had. It really made me feel at ease.
April is a natural caretaker and I would love for her to sit for Biscuit again. She provided updates and even sent pictures! 10/10 recommend, your pet will be in good hands
If I could give more than 5 stars, I would simply hand over my entire life savings and possibly nominate them for “Human of the Year.” Our dog Leonard (part-time gentleman, full-time chaos noodle) was watched by this absolute legend, and I’m convinced he is now emotionally attached in a way that borders on writing poetry. Leonard returned home calmer, happier, and somehow... more sophisticated? He made eye contact before stealing my sandwich. Growth. We got updates that were equal parts National Geographic documentary and stand-up comedy special. At one point I’m pretty sure Leonard was described as “a brave explorer confronting the terrifying vacuum monster,” and honestly, I’ve never felt more seen as a pet parent. Not only was Leonard cared for, he was understood. His dramatic sighs? Interpreted. His zoomies? Celebrated. His suspicious relationship with that one corner of the couch? Respected, not questioned. I half suspect Leonard is plotting his return as we speak. 10/10, would trust them again with Leonard, my houseplants, and possibly my deepest secrets.
April is excellent with pets! She’s very responsible and has years of experience with animals. April has watched my dog Posie many times, and every time I pick her up they’re having so much fun together. I definitely recommend April for any pet service!
April was amazing with my sweet cat, Stevie!! Easy to work with, transparent, trustworthy. I usually am very worried when I leave my cat alone while I’m away, but April was responsive and I knew Stevie was in good hands. Would definitely recommend!
April is a loving and caring naturally and def towards animals. I think she likes them more than people im pretty sure. Can't recommend her enough as she's really good at loving and being attentive with animals.

Schedule
I work from home, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. Because of my flexible schedule, I’m able to take your dog out for walks, potty breaks, and playtime whenever they need it. Your pet won’t be left alone for long periods, and I’ll be around during the day to make sure they’re comfortable, safe, and well cared for.
