Availability
I am currently no longer teleworking from my home, but I am able to conduct visits to provide the utmost care for your feline fur babies around my schedule. I’m not available in the mornings Mon-Fri, but I’m available after 430pm Mon-Fri and open availability on the weekends.

••••Required Information About Your Pet•••• You can never communicate too much. Inform me of any little detail that will help mitigate any stress in your pet family (favorite toy, favorite spots to be pet, triggers etc.) What is your pets temperament?
A typical day
••••Walks•••• I walk everyday! Walks are just as much fun for me as it is for your pet family. Rest assure, I will provide ample playtime and respect the rules of your home. Please let me know if you have a preferred route, and what is your pups walking style, leash etiquette and treats. Also, how do you prefer unwanted behavior corrected? For first visits, I prefer to do a brief meet and greet, prior to caring for your fur-babies. It doesn’t have to be done in person, and can be done via FaceTime if you have a door-lock key code, I will pick-up and drop off the key (for free) during the initial first visit. Visits after, the key can be left in my lock-box and I will return it to the lock-box, or leave the key at your home during the last visit if I can lock the door without it in the way out. I see myself as the cat whisperer. Others prefer to use the title of Cat-Lady. Regardless, of the title…. cats gravitate towards my energy. I’m a stickler for the details and will send you a summary of the visit, and tons of pictures. I have been told that cat photography may be my calling. 😉

Hi, I’m April! I’m an Army officer who currently resides in the Alexandria, Bell Haven area. I also have an energetic orange and black-mix one-year old brother and sister bonded pair named Victoria (aka Deuce for short) and Winston (aka Ace). I have a lot of experience taking care of animals starting when I was in college I utilized my free time to volunteer at animal shelters and pet sit for cats and dogs. I was able to create a flexible schedule around my school availability. Since then I have been caring for dogs, cats, and fish for over 17 years during my spare time. I have experience with different breeds and furry personalities.
