Hello! My name is April and I've been in-home dog sitting for 2 years. I am capable of giving medicine when needed, walking your dogs however long and far they need - whatever you and your dog's needs are, I can provide careful and loving care! I have a 9 year old Golden Retriever and try to run and exercise with him whenever I can - I want all dogs to be healthy and happy! I also have 10+ years experience caring for cats, which I love just as much! I am available on the weekdays from 6am-11am, and from 3-6pm. Weekend hours vary. April was great. Our small shitzu poodle puppy adored her. She arrived on time and immediatly connected with our Puppy. She was attentive to his needs as he is still a puppy. I'm looking forward to additional walks and care with her soon.
April was a great sitter! We have a very high energy Weim and a husky. She did excellent with communication, kept our house nice and neat while we were away, sent lots of photos, and gave my babies lots of love. Because our dogs are high energy, they require a lot of exercise, attention, and interaction. It was clear by their calm personalities when we got home that she gave them all of these. Both dogs also take oral medications, and she did great with these too. She's a great sitter and a very sweet person. Can't go wrong if you're looking for a sitter.
April has grown up with pets and has always displayed love and compassion for all animals and people. We have a golden retriever and 2 cats. We travel often and April always cares for the animals while we are away. We never worry about our animals, as I know they are in excellent hands. She has been pet sitting for other families for years and recently began working for a local dog sitting business part time, staying overnight and extended periods of time for their customers. The pet parents and their pets love her! She has a calm and nurturing nature about her that the animals respond to, making them less anxious while their owners are away. She treats their pets as they were her own, and not just a client, which is why many of them will only use her to care for their animals.
