Availability
I am a travel emergency nurse that finished an assignment in Highlands, NC recently. I am pretty flexible on times currently. I loved the area so I have decided to hang out for a while until my next assignment. I travel back home (AL) to work every two weeks but will have several days of availability!

I consider myself pretty active! We will go on long walks to enjoy all the new smells. I like to play fetch and practice commands with my pups!

Pet care experience
I am your typical animal lover! The one you see talking to people’s pets in public. I currently have a rescue GSD and a rescue cat so whether you have had your pet since a puppy or adopted at an older age, I assure you they will get ALL the loving. My passion is to rescue hurt, sick, or abandoned animals. I love meeting all the different personalities pets bring.

April was a great communicator before and during her visit with Millie. All went well, Millie got her mid day walk and some loving on the side. We plan to call April again when a need pops up! :-)
You only have to know April for a few minutes to discover she has a clear passion for animals, especially dogs, horses, and cats! She is extremely knowledgeable about animals from her youth of owning various animals, working after school for a local horse breeder, and spending time in a local vet office. This, along with her ER nursing experience, gives her a confidence that I appreciate when she takes care of my pup. When April keeps my dog, I travel without a single worry for his safety and health. I know I will come home to find him healthy, happy, and usually not wanting to leave her! There are very few people that I consider leaving my dog with for brief business trips, but when I needed to be in Spain for a month, I would have canceled the trip if April had not been available. She treated my pet as she would her own, maintained consistent communication (soothing my separation anxiety!), and was unwavering in following my dog's unique diet plan. I would not hesitate to recommend April to anyone seeking devoted, outstanding care for their furry family members.
