Most started out as private clients. The following bio is centered on what I offer while dogsitting/housesitting. 😊 Background and Dog Experience I’m a 40 year old stand-up comedian who performs at the Hollywood Improv Main Room as of late amongst other comedy shows around Los Angeles. I'm vegan, and I have lifelong experience with dogs and cats and other types of interesting pets. I was originally born in Phoenix and lived in Mesa, Arizona for 34 years then moved to Los Angeles in 2020 after visiting the Hollywood/LA every year since 2015. I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, lizards, millipedes (random I know!) and have administered medicine to most of them too. I have dealt with dog diarrhea on walls, dogs puking blood from getting into the grape vines outside, and other interesting events. These events only happened with my parents’ dogs when I lived with them, not any dogs I have actually dog sit, but I just want to convey -- I have dog experience and usually, nothing phases me. What is included? I give as many walks as you want me to give your dog. I also make sure to clean up any pee and poop messes in and outside your home (like if your dog poops on the patio). I give special care and attention to your dog all hours of the day. I play with your dog as well (if they want to play, but I won’t force your dog to play or go for a walk if they don't feel up for it). I can also administer medicines if your dog is on any. That is no problem. House Sitting When I dog sit, you get to come home to your dog that is happy and alive, and not beaten, stolen, or held for ransom somewhere in Panama. I’m house sitting and babysitting your world. So you have mature eyes on your belongings and I make sure your belongings are safe and intact and nothing is stolen. I make sure there are no HOA issues, no vagrants, no unwanted trespassers or wild animals on your property. I can also retrieve your mail and newspapers, and put them in a safe place that you designate. Basically, it looks like you are home. And I make sure your pet is safe and not petnapped and held for ransom. I also buy my own food because I’m vegan. References My client of 3 years has two beautiful dogs -- a Bloodhound and a Bernedoodle puppy that is quite big and so adorable (ahh my heart!). This client loves me so much, they pay me extra to drive out to Phoenix 2 to 3 times per year because their dogs love me and I love them. They won’t go with anyone else I have recommended to them. These clients advised that I can offer their contact information to you as a reference if you ask. 😊 I know pets are generally sweethearts with most people, but I’ve noticed pets seem to gravitate toward me and want to be by my side within an hour or so of meeting them.
