Can’t say enough great things about April! She handled my leash reactive dog with no problem and when i got back from vacation Allie was happy and tired from a full weekend of playing! April also took care of my little plant babies that she noticed needed a little love too. Will definitely be rebooking
April was so great with our pup Luna! Luna had recently had surgery so she wasn’t able to walk but April came over and spent extra time with our girl while we were away. She truly went above and beyond, putting down towels when it rained, leaving the tv/music on for Luna and checking in. I loved getting the updates and pictures! It felt so good knowing Luna was in such good hands.
April was the best rover I have ever had! She was extremely kind, considerate, loving, and went out of her way to care for my dogs multiple times in multiple ways. I cannot recommend her enough! Thank you April!
April was great with my two pups. House was immaculate and cleaned when I got home. One of my dogs got sick and she took such amazing care of her and gave me constant updates. Definitely using her again!

Ideally I'm looking for a few Paw Pals to walk or sit on regular basis and keeping their routine would bebof top importance. My schedule is open.

First I like to ask the parents how is the dog care for at home so I can try to emulate that at my home. As for the walks and play area, I live next door to a nice large fenced in dog walking area which is perfect for throwing the ball or frisbee and having fun. Also I believe walks are the perfect opportunity to encourage learning and training activities.

A typical day
When I'm taking care of my precious paw Pals, I make sure to provide them with a mix of engaging and enjoyable activities to keep them happy and active. Here are some fun activities I like to do with the dogs I watch: 1. **Nature Walks:** I love taking dogs for walks in nearby parks or nature trails. These walks not only provide exercise but also expose the dogs to new scents, sights, and sounds that stimulate their senses. 2. **Playtime at the Park:** Visiting a dog-friendly park allows the dogs to socialize and play with other dogs. It's a great opportunity for them to burn off energy and enjoy some off-leash fun. 3. **Interactive Toys:** I bring along interactive toys like puzzle feeders and treat-dispensing toys. These keep the dogs mentally engaged as they work to get the treats out, providing mental stimulation alongside physical activity. 4. **Fetching and Retrieving:** Many dogs love playing fetch. I bring along their favorite toys or balls and play fetch in a safe and enclosed area. 5. **Obedience and Training:** Incorporating basic obedience commands and training exercises during walks keeps their minds sharp and reinforces good behavior. 6. **Sniffing Time:** Dogs love to explore through their sense of smell. I allow them to stop and sniff around, letting them take in the scents of their surroundings. 7. **Water Play:** If there's a dog-friendly beach or shallow stream nearby, some dogs love splashing around in the water. It's a great way to cool off on a warm day. 8. **Scenic Routes:** I often have favorite routes that provide a mix of different environments - from urban streets to wooded areas. This variety keeps the dogs engaged and curious. 9. **Rest and Cuddle Breaks:** After all the play and exercise, I ensure there's time for some relaxing and bonding. Dogs love cuddles and belly rubs! 10. **Treats and Positive Reinforcement:** I always have treats on hand for rewarding good behavior during our activities. Positive reinforcement encourages their eagerness to learn and engage. Overall, my aim is to tailor activities to each dog's preferences and energy levels. I'm attentive to their needs and provide a mix of physical exercise, mental stimulation, and quality bonding time during our outings.
