I’m 29 and have always been surrounded by dogs and animals. I currently have two dachshunds, Walter and Mabel, and have also cared for cocker spaniels and other family pets over the years. I have previous experience in dog walking, pet daycare and boarding, so I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine and needs. I’m confident caring for energetic dogs, puppies, older dogs and those who need a little extra patience or reassurance. I’ll make sure your dog is safe, well looked after and treated like one of my own, with plenty of walks, play, affection and updates so you can relax while you’re away. Dog related experience outside of being a pet owner: - Worked as a Kennel Assistant at No More Kennels Luxury dog hotel. This role involved: Daily care, watering, feeding, cleaning kennels, hygiene and exercise of dogs, supervision of animal handling and transportation to local Vets, prevention of outbreaks and transmission of disease. Carrying out daily health checks on all dogs and giving daily medication if required. - Also voluntary experience of dog walking at NCAR Animal Rescue.
