For more than 20 years, I’ve cared for animals of all kinds, and being with them truly makes life sweeter. I’m very attentive and believe every pet deserves individualized care, especially those with more complex needs. I’ve had sensitive dogs of my own, so I understand anxiety, routines, and how deeply pets miss their people while they’re away. I’m experienced with medication schedules, comfortable administering injections, and confident managing pets who require a little extra patience and understanding. I strongly believe communication is key to peace of mind, and I’m always happy to provide updates and photos so you can feel connected and reassured while you’re away. My children have grown up around dogs and are respectful, calm, and comfortable with animals. Our own pets are loving, well-mannered, and get along beautifully with each other and with kids, which I think reflects the care, structure, and affection we give them every day. Your pet will be treated like part of our family—safely, lovingly, and with genuine care.

April is the most trustworthy person I know. She helped me tremendously in training our new puppy. She stood out as an authority after watching her own dogs behavior and her interactions with them. She not only is well versed in training them but she has so much experience caring for dogs at all ages with varying health issues. To her, dogs are family, and I see that reflected in her every interaction with them. I would absolutely trust her to watch my dog and cat any time and know with complete confidence that they would be loved on and cared for just as if I was the one home.
