Hi there 🏜️ I have always been passionate about helping and caring for animals. I studied wildlife biology and currently work as a biologist. I am familiar with the needs of senior dogs, as I have an older fella. I am comfortable with administering medications to cats and dogs, and subcutaneous fluids to well-baved cats and dogs. I am an excellent communicator. I will provide a detailed written update on your pet's activities and mood on every visit and will share lots of photos, because I would expect the same level of care and attentiveness to my fuzz children if I couldn't be with them myself. I have three fuzz children of my own, Bear (dog, 15), Dakota (cat, 6), and Simba (cat, 6). They are my world!

I would love detailed instructions on your pet's routine to include info on any current medications, feeding schedule, walks, their triggers, etc. I'd like to maintain a routine that's as close to their normal routine as possible.

This is the third time April has helped take care of our three cats — she is really the best. We love all the pictures she shares and detailed updates; she knows our cats so well now and makes a point to play with each of them one-on-one. I can’t say enough about how kind she is and how conscientious. We trust her completely to take care of the fur babies and the house. April is the absolute best! She really loves our cats like they are her own. They love her. Whenever she comes in, they come to greet her and play. She helped us with some drop-in visits twice a day for a long weekend, and she administered pills for our older cat. I can’t say enough good things, she really is the cat whisperer!!!
April is just an amazing caretaker/animal whisperer. If our cats could type, they would have a lot of glowing things to say about their new best friend. We are so grateful that April was able to help us out, and we will be reaching out to her again as soon as possible. The rapport she had with our cats was instantaneous upon their first meet and greet. And we felt very comfortable right away, as well. The detailed drop-in reports and the action-packed photos of our fur bebes —playing, pouncing, eating, drinking, lounging, and hanging out in sunbeams—were so appreciated. April took great care of our pets, and we felt relaxed knowing they were in such good hands. We’ve never used Rover before, but we are big fans now. Thank you, April!!
April did fantastic job pet sitting for our dog and cat. We felt very comfortable with her and at ease leaving our boys in her care. Her communication was spot on, and we received plenty of timely updates. She gave our pets some extra love and attention which we greatly appreciated. We would not hesitate to have April back again, and we plan on having her pet sit for us in the future.
I am so grateful to April for being such a great sitter for my cat! She has an obvious love of animals and is very sweet and friendly to chat with. I had full trust knowing she’d be great with my Kitty and keeping in contact the whole time. I’ll definitely be booking her for all future pet-sitting needs. Thanks April!
If I could give April 10 stars I would. She has taken care of our nervous Saint Bernard twice now and was patient and kind. She is winning our girl over spending time petting and sitting with her and calming her anxiety. April is new to Rover and doesn't have many reviews yet, but her recommendations are rock solid and she's the real deal. I feel so fortunate to have found her!

Schedule
Going away for the weekend? Need a reliable sitter? My schedule is flexible on the weekends, so let's chat! My schedule during the week is very straightforward but a tad more limited time-wise. Im generally not available between 7:30am and 5:30pm. I can fit drop-ins or walks in the am or pm around those times during the week. I'd love to chat more to see how I could help out you and your fur family.
