I am a teacher, so during the summer I am home the majority of the day and night. During the school year, I use my lunch time to drop in mid day, which is what I already do for my dog. I do have experience with dogs with disabilities. I have experience with senior dogs, dogs with hind leg paralysis, and dogs with special diets. I have some experience with dogs that have diabetes. I’m able to do all these things with my current schedule and take excellent care with pets to make them happy and relaxed.

I have a partially fenced back yard. It is fenced in on 2 sides. It is a large back yard for plenty of exercise. I live in a quiet residential neighborhood with very little traffic that is slow moving and is great to walk around. I have a clean home and is a non-smoking environment. When outside, your dog will be supervised at all times for safety, which is what I do for my own dog.

I would prefer to do a meet and greet with our dogs if I am house sitting or if your dog is staying in my home. Also, please let me know what medications your dog is on along with any special dietary instructions. In case of illness, I would also like to know an emergency contact and veterinarian information. Also, I would love to know your dog’s daily routine, feeding schedule, and bathroom schedule.

I often take my dog to the dog beach, daily walks in the neighborhood or on the nearby bike trails or sports fields. We also get lots of relaxation time.

I currently have the sweetest chihuahua mix who is 12 years old and named Milo. I adopted him 9 years ago from the Noah Project. He is well-behaved and shows absolutely no aggression towards other dogs. He is very calm and sleeps A LOT! I have watched numerous dogs and cats for friends and family over the years. I have also fostered for a local shelter. I would love to be a safe place for your dog(s).

April is amazing- Tork adores her. Now that Tork has some health issues I know I can trust her to act in my place, which gives me peace of mind while I’m out of town for medical treatment
