I am a professional pet care provider with over 13 years of professional experience caring for dogs and cats, along with over 18 years of personal experience caring for my own cats. I have experience working with animals of all shapes, sizes, breeds, ages, and temperaments, and I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and individual needs. My experience includes dog walking, drop-in visits, cat care, senior pet care, and caring for pets with different personalities and activity levels. I am also comfortable administering some medications when needed. I provide patient, attentive, and compassionate care while following each pet’s routine and their owner’s instructions closely. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away.

I believe keeping a pet’s routine as consistent as possible helps them feel safe, comfortable, and less anxious while their owner is away. I follow each client’s instructions and their pet’s normal routine closely, including feeding and watering schedules, bathroom breaks, walks, and other daily care. During each visit, I spend quality time with the pet based on what they enjoy and are comfortable with. I’m happy to play, provide affection and attention, or simply keep them company if they prefer a quieter visit. My goal is to provide dependable, consistent, and compassionate care so pets can remain comfortable in their own home and owners can have peace of mind while they’re away.

April did an amazing job of kitty sitting my 3 sibling kitties for 3 weeks when I took a trip and needed someone to watch my babies. My furries were rescued when they were just little babies a year and a half ago. They didn't even have their eyes open when it was discovered that their feral Mom had died. One of my boys is still pretty feral but April took her time and won his confidence :-) I will use her again in the event I go away again and need a kitty sitter and I would definitely recommend her for all your kitty and doggie needs. I have had April take care of my pets many times in the past in our home. At one time we had 5 dogs and three cats which she took care of. You can trust her to follow your instructions. Your pets will be pampered and safe in her care. April's main focus will be your will be your pet. April would be a great addition to your team because she loves animals.
April was my cat sitter for over a year, caring for my five indoor cats while I traveled often. She was always responsible, reliable, and great with my cats. I had video surveillance in my home, so I was able to see how patient, gentle, and compassionate she was with them. My cats absolutely loved her, and I always felt comfortable knowing they were in such good hands.

Schedule
I work a part-time position Monday through Friday from 4:30 PM to 9:30 PM. I am available during the daytime Monday through Friday. I have open availability on weekends and can accommodate drop-in visits throughout the day. I’m happy to work with each pet’s individual routine and scheduling needs whenever possible.

- Before providing care, I need to learn about each pet’s personality, routine, and individual needs. A meet and greet is required before the first service, where we’ll discuss their age, temperament, bite or aggression history, interactions with other animals, feeding and bathroom routines, leash training, medications, and any other important care details. I’ll also collect emergency and veterinarian contact information and create a pet profile with the information needed to provide safe, consistent, and personalized care.
