My husband Michael and I have been house sitting for friends, family and neighbors for many years and I was encouraged to join Rover by other dog moms & dads at the JI Dog Park. I am reliable and genuine. I love all animals, but would prefer helping mostly with dogs I have raised and cared for animals since a very young age. I will always try to take on new and last minute bookings as my schedule will allow. Luckily, I work part time, giving me a lot of flexibility to work with almost anyone’s schedule! Questions? Safety, trust & environment
I am respectful to each clients needs. I treat all animals as if they were my own. I am confident in providing proper care and check ins allowing clients to trust and rest assured everything is handled. I will always ensure the absolute safest environment for your fur baby. At my home on James Island, I have a fully fenced in backyard. I also hold a membership and frequently visit local dog parks. I love to keep animals active. My pup and I go for frequent walks in my neighborhood, which has low traffic and paved sidewalks.

April, has always taken great care of our pets. First and foremost she is a pet owner/lover herself. She always go over and beyond and she would always be my first choice.

We met at the dog park and she is great with all of the dogs. She has watched my high strong dog many times, Including overnights at my house and hers. I believe dogs are very intuitive and my dog absolutely loves her. She is attentive, affectionate and stern when needed. I strongly recommend April to take care of any of your fur baby needs.

I’ve witnessed firsthand that dogs and cats love April as much as she loves them. She is very popular with my fur babies, 2 cats and 1 dog, and is happy they love to interact with her. She is also a doggy magnet at the dog park with dogs stopping for some pets before running off to play again. April is one of the few people I trust taking care of my fur babies while I’m away and know she would treat other fur babies just as well.

Schedule
I am available weekdays and weekends for dog sitting, boarding, bathing, etc. I have a very flexible schedule allowing me to cater to anyone’s needs. No job is too small or too large. I’m comfortable providing care for all ages and breeds. In addition I can also provide childcare if needed.
