I've been pet-sitting in NYC for 6+ years now and genuinely love the time I get to spend with them. I’m a fan of all animals and find joy in getting to know their unique personalities and quirks :) I have a calm and patient energy that helps shy pets feel at ease. I respect the routines and care that you provide for your little ones and want to emulate that for them so that they feel safe and comfortable even when you can't be at home. I have worked as a veterinary receptionist/assistant for 10 years in both NYC and Australia. I'm very comfortable with all pets and any health concerns or needs that they may have.

I think the best way to keep your pet safe, happy, and comfortable with a pet sitter is communication. Pets are so great at letting me know their expectations but if you can let me know their do's and don'ts ahead of time I can be one step ahead in keeping them and myself safe and comfortable in your home and on walks. Likewise, I will keep an open and honest line of communication with texts and pics!

April is the best for animals with extensive medical needs! She kept my old cat comfy, gave him his meds, and got him everything he needed all week. She’s super communicative and let me know how he was doing throughout the week. She’s the best!

April was such an easy pet sitter. She kept us updated on how Bobby was doing and sent through photos. She followed all our instructions and had no issues managing Bobby's medication and his old man stubbornness! I'd book her again in a heartbeat
April took excellent care of our 18 year old cat. He is on a lot of meds (multiple pills, subcutaneous fluids, an ear gel…) and at a palliative care stage of life. April was able to keep him comfy and content while we were away. It was a huge relief to find her on Rover and have her care for our Bruce! She was very sweet and understanding about a diarrhea explosion on only her 2nd day of cat sitting! And we forgot to cancel a weekly food delivery and she very graciously got the package for us and put everything away. Thank you, April!!
April is amazing! This was her second time staying with Junie, and we can tell that Junie really loves her. She takes wonderful care of our pup and our home.

Schedule
I currently work in-office Mon-Fri 9AM-5PM in Brooklyn. In the evenings and on my days off I'll be available to look after your pets!

- Please let me know any specific info about how your dog is with strangers, young kids, and other dogs. Also if they have a tendency to eat anything they shouldn't or any cheeky behaviors give me a heads up so I can be mindful.
