April can care for
Availability
Caring for dogs is already part of my everyday life. I have two dogs of my own, so daily walks, outdoor time, and pet care are already built into my routine. I currently offer dog walking and drop-in visits throughout the week and enjoy helping dogs stay happy, comfortable, and cared for while their humans are busy.

About April K.
Safety, trust & environment
I understand how important trust and communication are when someone is caring for your pet and entering your home. During visits, I prioritize safety, patience, and making sure each dog feels comfortable and secure in their normal environment and routine. I’m attentive to details such as leash safety, feeding instructions, water refills, medications if needed, and keeping pets calm and comfortable while their owners are away. I’m also happy to provide photo and message updates during walks and visits for peace of mind.
Information April K. would like to know about your pet
I would love to meet you and your pet ahead of time whenever possible so everyone feels comfortable and safe. Please let me know about your dog’s personality, routine, triggers, energy level, leash behavior, medical needs, fears, favorite activities, or anything else that would help me provide the best care possible. The more details you share, the better I can tailor visits and walks to your pet’s individual needs. I’m especially patient with shy, sensitive, or anxious dogs who may need extra time to warm up.
A typical day
I believe walks should be enjoyable and enriching for dogs, with plenty of time to sniff, explore, and get both physical and mental stimulation. During drop-in visits, I provide potty breaks, playtime, attention, fresh water, and lots of loving care so your pet feels comfortable and cared for while you’re away.

Pet care experience
I’m a lifelong dog lover and pet parent with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I currently have two dogs of my own, including a sensitive/anxious pup, so I understand the importance of patience, routine, and helping dogs feel safe and comfortable. I enjoy long neighborhood walks, trail walks, and providing calm, attentive care while pet parents are away. I’m reliable, communicative, and happy to send photo updates during visits and walks. I especially love working with small dogs, gentle dogs, and pups who may need a little extra patience and care. I’m very familiar with dog-friendly areas around Atlanta and enjoy getting dogs outside for enriching walks and fresh air. I believe pets are family and try to care for every dog the same way I’d want someone to care for my own.
