Pet care experience
I’ve owned and trained dogs from big and small. Experience with Chesapeake Bay retrievers which are the most stubborn ever! I love caring for dogs and love taking them for walks. I’ve cared for a few runaways until the owners were found and dog sat for neighbors and my parents. I’ve always had animals and everyone in town knows if there is a dog nearby I’m going to make sure to meet it. I truly believe that the loyalty and commitment dogs have to their owners is life saving. My family calls me the dog whisperer because every dog immediately comes to me like it just knows I will give it attention. My passion for dogs is leading me towards new goals and following my dreams to work with them. I will be attending dog training certification soon and exploring more certifications as well. I’ll update everyone when that is one its way.

April is a very kind, responsible and loving individual, she expresses that love not only with her family but also with her pets. She cares personally for two dogs and a rabbit and has instilled that love and care with her three daughters as well. If April sets her mind to a task, she will take it on as if completing it for herself. I would highly recommend her for anyone to use as a pet caregiver, she will take care of that pet as if it were her own.

My dogs have never been trained to go in kennels. They have always been trained with free range of the house. We have an underground fence that my retriever was trained to use and a tie out for my little dogs. They are on full feed all day so they pick and choose when to eat and I’ve only ever done that with all my dogs growing up. T hey are taken out every morning, and roam the house during the day. We have a bell on the door I trained our chessie to use but always take them out when I get home and before bed.

Any kind of fears or dislikes, activities he or she love and rewards or displince used or not used. Any food or treat/toy guarding? I had a dog once that was just freaked out by bikes— not sure why but they scared him., so any quirks like that.
A typical day
I have yet to meet a dog that doesn’t love tug of war or going on fun walks. My retrievers all love the chuck it system and frisbees.

Availability
Currently I work full time,but Fridays are early outs and I don’t go in until 9 so I can use mornings for a quick walk, right now weekends are all I can do but maybe one day more.
