I’ve had all kinds of pets since I was little. You name it - dogs, cats, rabbits, Guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, and mice. In my family home, we’ve had staffies for about 12 years now, so the “scary” dogs don’t fool me. They’re all big babies. I have pet/house sat and done pet drop-ins for friends, family members, and those willing to let a stranger take care of their little loved ones. I know it can be scary leaving your pet with a total stranger - trust me I’ve been there! But I promise that your little loved one will just be having a little holiday of their own. The majority of care will be done by myself but my partner is also a verified pet sitter. We have cared for puppies, senior dogs, and everything inbetween! We have the experience and, most importantly, the love for animals for you to have peace of mind when placing your pets in our care. We both have experience in puppy training, senior care, giving oral medications, and special needs pets. We love animals and your pets will be looked after with the utmost care from both of us.

Safety, trust & environment
We offer pet sitting in the owner’s home. Each time is different and all dependent on what you’re comfortable with. In our previous experiences - our duties have included: walking dogs (usually twice a day but it depends on their age and ability), feeding (following your instructions), giving baths (when needed at no extra cost), medications (as instructed), and obviously lots of playtime! When pet/house sitting - We have stayed in the designated room/(s), looked after the house, and cleaned where necessary (just the daily upkeep of the place - we know pets like to be messy!). We have also looked after cats, rabbits, and birds, so our experience is not just limited to dogs. At least one of us will be available all day to give them attention, care, long walks, toilet breaks, training, and, of course, food! If one of us needs to work - the other will be available for them. Just let us know what their usual routine is and we’ll stick to that.

April was great at communicating with me and sending updates and photos to put my mind at rest. Our dog was well looked after and the house was left clean and tidy. I have already booked April again!
This was a getting to know you walk with our dog but I have every confidence in April.
This was our first time leaving our puppy (a Ridgeback) and she also went into season the day before we were due to travel. April was so calming and reassuring, she kindly did two meetings with our pup to get her used to someone new and she kept us updated throughout our holiday on how both our pup and cat were doing. The house was clean and tidy when we got back and both animals seemed to have been looked after very well. I would certainly use April again.
April & Kevin came to house sit for a week - Clara our rescue dog is a sensitive large dog who gets anxious easily - they not only managed her anxieties but she unfortunately got sick and then also got an ear infection and they managed amazingly - sorted her out, kept us updated and reassured us everything was under control. Clara, like many dogs, is a great judge of character - she loved them both instantly and was really relaxed around them - we came home to a very calm dog despite the weeks challenges! Credit to them both.
April did a great job with Bruce- we returned to a happy and relaxed dog!
April and her partner were excellent with my 3 legged dog. Updated us regularly and sent loads of pictures which gave us real peace of mind!

Schedule
I’m a freelance artist so all of my work is done wherever I am - meaning that I’m available 100% of the time for your pet. My partner, Kevin, works as a chef for our family business, meaning that the odd gourmet snack is available upon request. This means that at least one of us will be available at any given time. We live right on the outskirts of Epping Forest so your pet will have immediate access to long walks with acres of land to explore. We both love the outdoors so this isn’t a change to our daily routine.
