I started at a dog walking company in Portland in July 2021 and recieved a promotion within 3 months. And by Winter 2022 I transitioned to full-time employment as an independent pet care provider. I am very familiar with high energy large strong pups that like to pull sneaky tricks and play 🐕🦺 Alongside dog walking, I cat sit frequently! 🐈 I have also cared for specialty pets such as rats, bearded dragons, bunnies and guinea pigs! 🐁 I've taken care of many special needs & rescued pets, and spent a year fostering a sweet kitty! I’m open to every pet! I moved to the bay in August, but prior to my relocation I had established many trusting relationships with clients and provided reoccurring care for their sweet pups & kitties for over a year. It was definitely tough to say goodbye. However, I’m very excited to be creating more wonderful relationships with clients and pets here in Oakland! I am open and looking to take house sitting gigs in Portland and traveling up to visit! I always approach with a gentle and calm demeanor, so animals aren’t overwhelmed. Safety and ensuring their needs are met is #1! I am always willing to follow training practices owners have in place. Please note combo walks are not a requirement and will be up to the individual dogs' needs and client requests. I lean towards R+ walking and prefer to walk pups with harnesses and no prong or choke collars. OVERNIGHTS I can provide walks, enrichment time, and attention for pups! I unfortunately cannot watch pups that are unable to be alone as I would like to spend some time outside of the home. Depending on the pups and their needs I’d love to take them on adventures! If adventures aren’t in the cards for them I am still able to provide care in the form of walks, quality time, and enrichment.
