I am a stay at home mom of 4, plus one Blue Heeler named Lola. My children range in age from 12 years to 3 months old. The past 12 years I have owned and operated an in-home childcare business. Because I stay home full time I am able to provide around the clock care for your fur babies like they are my own! I can administer meds if needed, follow the schedule your pet is accustomed to, help with any training needed, provide endless outdoor play time in a safe, fenced environment and love on your pet like my own!

I have a large, fenced back yard. We have numerous outdoor dog toys for play herding, catching, tug-o-war and fetch. I have two dog kennels (1 large and 1 small) that I can use if needed for your pet. My dog is very friendly and always loves a playmate! I look forward to fostering an environment that puts you and your dog at peace during the time of separation.

Things that are important and helpful to know: If the dog has any destructive tendencies- example: chewing on furniture. Does your dog take medication? Time of day given and dosage are needed to know. Any other special need that your dog requires would be good to know as well.
A typical day
We have play time in the backyard. Chasing the pesky squirrels out of the yard is one of my dogs favorites! Our house is next to the start of a walking trail here in town. We can utilize the trail for walks, adventures and exercise. Kearney has a new dog park if you're interested in your dog going out for socialization!

I have taken care of pets since I was a young child. Growing up we had cats, dogs and fish in the house all the time. I was responsible for feeding, walking and training. The first pet that I was solely responsible for was 20 years ago. I have cared for many friends pets and children over the years.

Titan always LOVES going to April’s house!! As soon as we pull up he’s ready to jump out and go play. We feel confident knowing that Titan is well cared for and safe anytime he’s there.
April is the best!!! We have used her numerous times and would recommend her to anyone!!!!
