Must Love Dogs!
Hi! My name is April. After growing up around dogs, my husband and I decided to get our first dog-a Hurricane Katrina rescue-as soon as we got married! Having a love for dogs evolved into a partnership with a local rescue in which I've volunteered for transport, adoption home visits, adoption follow up, and fostering. 3 dogs later-I enjoy walking the dogs around the farm, car rides(with drive thrus for pup treats of course!), and cuddling on the couch(our dogs know how to nap!). My friends know that my house is the "dog house" and that their dogs are welcome to come have fun and hang out too! I tend to be the "go to" friend when someone needs a pet sitter:) I specialize in special needs and geriatric care.

April was more than I could’ve asked for in my first time seeking out a pet sitter through this app. She was very attentive to my boys for her drop-in visits and sent me pictures and updates daily. She went above and beyond in my opinion, not just helping with my boys, but also my leopard gecko and checking on my garden plants as well. She’s definitely someone with great care and attention to detail. Will definitely be reaching out to April again when we go on any trips!
April was absolutely amazing and attentive to our babies while we were gone! We got updates with every visits and photos! My animals definitely loved her, and it was great getting to come home and they're still their happy selves! Will definitely be going through April again if she'll have us <3
I am so glad that I found April a week before my husband & I vacationed in Punta Cana D.R, She was quickly responsive and took such good care of my 3 boys ages 7,4 & 2. She made me feel so comfortable knowing my boys would be taken care of. I also loved that her husband joined her so it was double the love & interaction with my boys. They were so friendly and understanding when we met and throughout this process we became friends. I would definitely recommend April if you want excellent care for your animals and have peace in mind with the quality of care your animals will receive!

April is absolutely fantastic! My boyfriend and I are usually able to be home with our furbaby but we had a schedule change the next few weeks and I’m so thankful we found April! Stella is usually on the shy side but after meeting April and her husband Stella loved them and we knew she was a perfect fit. Stella warmed up to them both quicker than she has with most people (she sensed they’re dog lovers!) You can tell talking with her that she has a great knowledge of dogs and caring for them. I felt completely comfortable with her stopping in and taking care of our baby while we couldn’t be there. Stella & I would recommend if you’re looking for pet care to contact April, we will definitely be using her for the duration of our schedule change and likely after as well!
April was a fantastic sitter! My pup Teddy had a great time and came home a happy dog. She was so accommodating with everything that we asked and gave our pup lots of love and attention. This was our first time giving our puppy away to a sitter and we were very nervous but April was great and we even got to meet her before hand! We will definitely be booking again!
